Levell Coppage has had some monster games vs Eau Claire in his career.  In 5 career games against the Blugolds, he is averaging (per game) 32 rushes for 221 yards (6.7 rush/avg.), with 9 total TD's. He also had a 220 yard game as a freshman in '08. Included in those totals is his personal best 42-386 yds 9.2 avg., 3 TD performance as a soph in 2009.  That was only 5 yards shy of the conference record of 391 yards, set by La Crosse's Andrew Mocadlo in '03. It would be nice to see him approach his career numbers on Saturday.

Well Stoutguy I guess we weren't anymore competitive than the first time around.  Good luck next week.

Mada a Karma run for my friends at UWW.  Hope the team has a fanatastic victory today!!  It has been such a pleasure to welcome you'all to Salem lo these many years and I for one am hoping to do it again this year.  But for now we 'll take it one game at a time.  Way to go Levell.  Remember please the Oline and the tight ends that help you to amass such yardage!!  Nothing is ever a one person accomplishment in the game of football.  For instance without the defense, the Oooos can't even get the ball to play with.  Pound your way to a victory.  Big points.  I don't like heartattack victories (20 - 17 comes to mind.)  35 - 0 would be nice.  65 - 0 even nicer.  Especially for one who is so far away and only gets to see the result and not the play by play game!!!  Cheer for me, too everybody!!!
Brownies for Film Day--Now there's a Slogan I can live with!!!:)  Go EAGLES!

RF 28, LaX 21 in o.t. for first Falcon win for Matt Walker. Falcons trailed whole game, tying it in the fourth q. Lax q.b. threw his second int. during o.t. after Falcons went up 28-21. It was first RF win in something like 21 years over Lax. I don't think John O. ever beat LaX.

Watch out EC, next week at RF.

MESSAGE TO RECRUITS:  IN DOUBT? ENROLL AT STOUT. DON'T CARE? GO TO EAU CLAIRE. AT A LOSS? TRY LACROSSE. FEELIN' OUTTA JOINT? YOUR PLACE IS POINT. DON'T LIKE THE REST? DO WHAT'S BEST!

Coppage now at 7012 yards.

341 shy of Bowers for second all time.

Prior statement correction:  John O'Grady's team tied Lax in 1992 and won in 1994. RF lost to Lax since then, 16 straight, until today!

Got to love #33....on another note MUC was fortunate to win today with a last minute TD pass and a favorable no-call when BW was moving for a possible winning score.....Congrats to the WIAC CHAMPS......Pound the Rock.......

Pat Coleman

For the record, the no-call came with 10 seconds left. Two more plays at the most if the call is made.

Congrats to the Warhawks and their fans on ANOTHER WIAC title. 8-)

Posted my congrats to the WARHAWKS on the update board but I will bring it over here as well.  Another win, that is all that matters.  BG's played great and put up a HUGE fight!!!  I repeat!!!!  People tend to forget how hard it is to win games in the WIAC!   Win and move on!  Congrats to the WARHAWKS! on a 7th straight WIAC Championship!!

You boys enjoy the Bama/LSU game last night as much as I did?  If there was ever a doubt about how important DEFENSE and special teams are, it couldn't have been made more clearer.  Saban might want to consider spending a little more energy on the recruiting trail next season with regards to his kicking corp.   8-)

To expand Bobo's thoughts on Levell Coppage's career numbers vs. UW-Eau Claire.

Note: Coppage played in five games vs. the  Blugolds during his UWW career including two games in 2008.  Whitewater and EC played an "in-conference/non-conference" game at Carson Park in 2008's second game of the season.

Career vs. UW-Eau Claire
1,121 yards (165 rushes)  10 TDs

2008 (1): 235 yards, 1 TD
2008 (2): 173 yards, 3 TD
2009: 387 yds, 1 TD
2010: 106 yds, 2 TD
2011: 236 yds, 1 TD

That's 1,121 of his current 7,012 career rushing yards

KitchenSink

I'm glad he got another chance after that WEAK 2010!!  (snicker)  :P 8-)
What the hell was that?  That was a Drop-kick.  Drop-kick? How much is that worth?  Three points.  THREE POINTS?!
