UWW/Albion Video Fee

Feed? Free? Can't be a fee, NCAA rules don't allow it for playoff games.

UWW charges for parking, why not charge for a video feed too! 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-)

I started thinking about my last post after I posted it. Always a good thing, and, probably, something I do too often.

Is the "Toughest Bracket" the bracket that has the "Best" #1 seed? Is it the bracket where there is the biggest likelihood of an upset of the #1 seed? OR: Is it the bracket where, if you had the #1 seed from that bracket play the #1 seed from the other three brackets, the #2 seed against the #2 seed from the other three brackets, The #3 seed against the #3 seed from the other 3 brackets and so on, which bracket would produce the most winners? Or are there other ways to determine which bracket is toughest?

Discuss.

My vote was for MHB's bracket. I look at the top 4-5 teams in that quadrant and I believe together they are stronger than the top 4-5 teams in the other regions.

After MHB's bracket, here's the next three toughest - in order:

2nd - Mount Union (this quadrant is very close to MHB's in talent, but I'm not sold on Wabash. Plus after Wabash there's a big drop off).
3rd - UWW (Kean is battle tested and I heard Salisbury has a good running game. But after that...??)
4th - St. Thomas (weakest bracket I think. UST should cruise even though Del Valley is the "No. 1")

I cast my vote for 02's order as well, with one correction.  After NCC, there is a big drop off.

I think this highlights one of the most fun aspects of posing questions like this on the boards. Some of the disagreements I've seen take a life of their own originate simply because the responders defined terms in the original question differently.  In this case, I think defining "toughest" is a matter of perspective.  From a UW-W perspective, I agree with those who put the bracket as third toughest.  From non-Mount/UWW schools with semi-final aspirations, the easiest may be brackets that don't include the purple powers.  From the longshots perspective, it's all good (or at least it should be!).

I hope all teams stay healthy and all fans have a great day following round 1!

My interpretation of toughest was strength overall, which one had the most contenders to challenge for the regional championship.  I voted for Mounts bracket with NCC in it just from memory, (never a reliable source these days,) without looking back at the brackets.  After going back, I realized that I could have voted for UMHB's bracket. Hard to argue that a bracket with the Crusaders, Wesley, (well, the always seem to play everyone else tough, ;)) and Linfield in it isn't a very tough road and Mounts just doesn't seem to have that clear cut 3rd team that can threaten.  I agree with 02, Wabash?  Eh.........

Then again, if I were a lower seed in a bracket and looking up, where would I have the most hope of making the Semi's???  Well, it sure aint the Mount Union bracket with both the Raiders and NCC in it.   ;) ;D
