Current forecast for Saturday: High of 50, low of 35 and a 70% chance of rain.  >:(

That's probably the last thing Franklin needs right now. Nothing like a nice slippery ball for West to toss around.  :D

Oh good, now you don't have to worry!  ;) ;D

Hey...this is FUN complaining about UWW's route/competition in the play-offs.   ;)

Like Mount's route/competition in previous playoff years?  ;)

Yep.....especially according to the UWW fan complaints those previous years.   ;)

You would be complaining too if Mount ran the table - while being #1 in the country - and got a number two seed in the playoffs. Then had to play at NCC and at Wesley.

Are you kidding me?  With Mount's OBVIOUS influence with the NCAA (therefore never having to play a road game), heads would have ROLLED!  Calls would have been made.......people fired.........havoc in the streets of Alliance....and within a day there would have been a "do over".   ;) ;D

That's just how we roll.......

Do over?  You don't need no stinkin do over.  It's obvious teams like St. Thomas are in cahoots with Mt, throwing the game vs Bethel to ensure your stay at home streak wouldn't be broken.  The Mt influence runs deeper and wider than Capone's mob.   ;D

Ok, the thing I want to see most from UWW on Sat is two or more, multi-play, long TD scoring drives.
Anybody else?

Just wondering, are Matt and his brother the only siblings who have been finalists for the Trophy?  voice, got any info on that?

He ain't heavy, he's my Brother...

This marks the third time in six years Monmouth's Fighting Scots have a player among the finalists. Tanney's older brother, Mitch, was a Gagliardi finalist in 2005.

Alex Tanney was a finalist for the award in 2009, the same year he won the Melberger Award as the division 3's top football player based solely on performance on the field.

A great tribute to both of these athletes and their families, talk about skill sets and achievements. Tough choices this year! So committee, call it a tie and award more than one!

Does this mean that it will only rain when Franklin is on offense?  ;) You guys do control the universe!

The important question is whether the rain will affect the cannon.

Yes, that is the current plan gator.

The cannon is operational up on the hill just like the postman completing his/her rounds. That is why the great wars of past & modern times have waged on through any season. Cannons, or their modern day equivalent, can be fired in all weather conditions hitting a object, as small as a single cardinal, from great distances.

Now, would you like to talk about hunting (hitting a cardinal with a cannon ball would not be considered hunting, BTW) or golf balls? We will include you in the conversation, if you so desire.  ;)  :o

Whitewater doesn't rely on the pass like Franklin does. If Franklin has trouble passing b/c to the weather, then it's game over for them.

If Whitewater can't pass b/c of the weather, then we'll just give the ball to our all-american RB.

Kind of surprised on the lack of chatter for the Franklin/UWW game. That goes for both the WIAC and HCAC boards.

I guess eveyone must have started their Thanksgiving festivities already.  ???

To you as well Bobo. I'm curious to know if you eat a traditional American Thanksgiving meal?

A delayed Happy Turkey Day to all my PP buddies!  Traveled back to South Dakota to spend some time with my folks so have been out of the loop.
I couldn't be more thrilled for our Gagliardi nominated QB and his family!  A wonderful and well deserved honor.  Can you imagine?  One family with two sons, both national champions, both Gag Finalist!  That is some gene pool!  ;) ;D  8-)

What a feast!  Great meal by Mrs. Sink tonight.  Full and happy with a Packer victory appetizer and then all the trimmings.  Happy Thankgiving to all!!!
What the hell was that?  That was a Drop-kick.  Drop-kick? How much is that worth?  Three points.  THREE POINTS?!

This year, yes, thanks for asking.  Some friends of our family are with the embassy. We had a nice meal at their home. We don't always go American traditional since my wife and daughter don't really enjoy turkey and cranberries the way I do. Wednesday night, we happened to run into some FOX Sports people in the hotel on the US Army base (Yongsan) as we were going to happy hour. They are in Korea doing some appearances with the troops.
