I am thrilled for Michael, Coach Z, his family and the Spartan Nation!  If it couldn't be Matt, so glad it went to Michael.  His stats are unbelievable!
"Of course, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong!"  Dennis Miller

If an award is given for the best video, Blanchard wins hands down. Very well done and highest quality picture.

The Tommies coming on the field holding hands with the head coach really looks funny.  ;D

Actually, I wish I was more like Bobo and Bleed and not worry so much.  I am going to blame it on genetics or other experiencial events.

I think what worries me is the unknown.  For instance, I don't worry about the coaches putting together a great plan or the oline playing smashmouth or M-Blanch playing to the best of his ability or the linebackers flying around the field and all the rest of the team playing really hard and well (is this a run on sentence?). I worry about the opponent doing something or being something unexpected.  Is Mt's secondary faster/better in coverage than we can handle?  Are Mt's dlinemen more disruptive than we can overcome?  Is Mt's passing game more effective than we can handle?  Is Jeremy Murray going to present more of a challenge than expected?

So many questions- so much to worry about.

I think Bobo's right. We probably ARE talking about semantics.  To me, those are the things that make it FUN! Those are the reasons I wanted UW-W to play Mount.  But for those who are predisposed to worry, I'll answer the questions for you, so you can just enjoy the next couple of days before the game:

Will Mount do something unexpected? Of course they will.

Is Mt's secondary faster/better in coverage than we can handle? Umm, they gave up 350 yards passing LAST WEEK.  Can pretty much promise you they are not.

Are Mt's dlinemen more disruptive than we can overcome? Very unlikely given the match-up of the trenches over the past 7 years. But if they are at first, very little chance they will be by the late 3rd and 4th quarter.

Is Mt's passing game more effective than we can handle?   Now you are just flat out grasping at straws! ;)

Is Jeremy Murray going to present more of a challenge than expected? It depends on what you expect. He will get some yardage between the 20's. He won't take over the game.

Relax and enjoy Friday night. It's going to be a good night!  ;)

I agree with bleed, I saw the game last week and I have no idea how Mount stays in the game, well except that they are Mount.  None of the issues that Emma brought up should worry anyone, but they will because we all know that Mount will do what they can to have a shot, and that is what they have, a shot.  Clearly, UWW is the better team, but what happens on Friday may play out differently then most of us expect.  Hoping to see many of you guys at the game.  I am easy to find, only guy wearing a Wesley jersey at the game I am sure of that.  WarhawkDad, I need to find you or you me so we can share a brew.  I will be bringing a Hopilicious and a Russian Imperial Stout with me from my local microbrew.  Good luck this weekend and safe travels to all the UWW folk.

I will be wearing a #65 jersey, but we are flying so I will not be bringing any local beers with me. Hope to meet you and other D3board contributors.

Anything?  Will not load on IPad for some reason.
Damn ipad doesn't support some streaming sources.  Thank Steve Jobs for that............. >:(
Actually it started working a little later, it was more the bandwidth of the building I was in.  The IPad does good on most video as long as it is not flash.   Arriving in Salem tomorrow about 9:40 a.m.

Will post on the IPad from there!

I think it is a great thing to see the Madison media staying involved this week.  The Wisconsin State Journal has two articles today.  One, highlighting Michael Z's Gagliardi win and the second about the Stagg and Matt Blanchard.

I've decided that I don't like being favored.

I believed we were the favorites in 2009. I knew if we played our "A" game, nobody could beat us that year.

I've decided I don't like being the underdog and I'm willing to even things out by trading QB's and TB's if you'd like.

I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

Not to take anything away from any of the others but the 2009 team may have been the best one we've sent to the Stagg Bowl.

I didn't like being favored that year either.

I 100% agree. Best UWW team ever.

Hard to disagree with the 09 team being the most powerful team.  After Friday we should discuss the UWW teams since 05 and rank them.  Probably be quite a dialogue.   But do not want to take away from tomorrow.  Sitting in lobby of team hotel watching sports center, watching Stagg memorabilia be sold and fans stream into the hotel.   Team is at a practice before tonight's dinner.
