413,

Where's BoBo, I hope he is OK? :)

I'm pretty sure he does some traveling this time of year.   ;)

I heard he's heavily recruiting the South East Asian market on UWW's behalf. Trying to find the next great UWW running back.

We wish him the best.

02,

Did not know UWW's recruiting went that far! :)

It incredible how far our recruiting had gone since 2005.  We're getting recruits from states that was unheard of before.

UWL will play North Central (IL) and D2 Northern Michigan in 2012 non-conference action. Both will be road games.

Whitewater fans,

As much as it would be painful to watch, I would like to get a DVD of the Stagg Bowl. We can't get it in our bookstore. Apparently we only have it if UMU wins. That's been a long time ago.
If someone would let me know on the OAC board, I would be very appreciative.

Oh, by the way, congrats on a great season and a great Stagg Bowl.

Thanks!

Got a shipping notice email this morning - Championship apparel is en route!
What the hell was that?  That was a Drop-kick.  Drop-kick? How much is that worth?  Three points.  THREE POINTS?!

Very aggressive scheduling...I have to say I like what the new LC coach is doing. I hope LC can turn the fortunes of WIAC teams losing to D2 competition. Some examples noted below. What are other D2 games that have occured for WIAC teams in the recent past?

UWO losing to Minnesota State - Mankato 33-22 in 2006
UWW losing to St. Cloud State 26-16 in 2007

Coach Leipold is on the Dennis Krause Show on Time Warner Sports 32 right now (in Milwaukee).

I see it will be repeating multiple times over the next few days.

Received one of two ordered items of championship apparel today.  When I called them they indicated that they had wanted to get out what items they had available and expected unavailable items to be mailed next week.  So if you get an incomplete order chances are the missing item(s) were out of stock and should be coming shortly.  Mine was short a hoodie.

There was a note that came out saying hoodies and I think polos were on backorder.

UWO announces their 2012 Schedule including non-conference against Central College who finished 7-3 in 2011 and Alma College who finished 2-8 in 2011. They have 5 home games and 5 away games. Sept. 22 Alma College (Mich.)   Alma, Mich.
Sept. 29  UW-River Falls   River Falls
Oct. 6 UW-Eau Claire   Oshkosh
Oct. 13 UW-Platteville (Homecoming)    Oshkosh

In scanning the WIAC sports websites, I see that EC, Osh, Plat, and Stout have their schedules up for 2012 (Plat has a 9 game list with an open date).  A few notables:

Conference schedule is just a flip from 2011.  Same weekends, same opponents, just flip home and away from 2011.

Nonconf match-ups:  EC at Plat, LaC at Osh, Stout at RF.  Looks like Point at UWW (since UWW at Point in October)

Eau Claire opens with St Thomas and St John's at home to (so far, at least) claim the most robust non-conf schedule.  Stout travels to North Central, certainly a challenge.
