I mentioned already that former UWSP WR Jared Jenkins is playing AFL ball with the Milwaukee Mustangs. To provide an update he's currently leading the team in receptions, yards, yards per reception average, TDs and average yards per game.

Great article on the Championship Wheelchair Teams! This has always been one of the things I am most proud of at UW-Whitewater.  The way the university has embraced, promoted and encouraged disabled athletes and student on campus!

How would you rate this year's recruits vs. past years for the Warhawks? Hope all is well!

To be honest I'm not entirely sure yet. I guess we'll have to wait and see who enrolls at Whitewater in the fall.

I can't get into specifics on any recruits but I will say that the staff I've spoken with are very high on the group.  Hopefully those that we think are coming actually enroll.  Until that time I doubt we'll be hearing very much about any individuals unless they themself release the information.

UW-Whitewater's Casey Casper was an All-American at defensive end for UW-Whitewater this past season.  Casey has been invited to next weekend's Green Bay Packers' rookie minicamp - not as a defensive end but as a long snapper.  Living Lake Country's JR Radcliffe has written a great feature on the Dousman native....
