"He may best be known for his game-winning touchdown against the Chicago Bears on 7 September 1980. On opening day of the 1980 NFL season, the Packers were tied with the Bears 6-6 in overtime. A 32-yard pass from Lynn Dickey to James Lofton helped set up a 34-yard attempt to win the game for the Packers. Marcol's kick was blocked and came straight back to his facemask. He caught the ball and ran around the startled Bears in what appeared to be sheer fright. Marcol was able to run 25 yards into the end-zone to give the Packers a 12-6 victory."  taken from Wikipedia

Blanchard sighting on chicagobears.com.  There has been a video series with regards to the Bears rookie minicamp.  At the end of Episode 4, there is a tease for next episode and he makes an appearance in the tease.  Looks like he might be part of Episode 5.  Episode 5 should be on the site in the next day or two.

Very cool, I've watched the first two videos hoping to see him in action but I didn't notice him yet. I'll be sure to watching 3 and 4 later tonight.

Bears beat the Packers the other day 10-2...in a charity golf match.  Could be the last time they taste victory against G.B. this year!!

The UW-W Athletic Facilities will be featured in "A Sporting Chance." It is scheduled to debut on ESPN2 at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 23.

Pretty cool. It ended up being a Nortwestern Mutual commercial, and they talked about how they supported the NCAA and Title IX. The commercial showed various women athletes (played by actors), while displaying numerous UWW athletic facilities in the background.

A word of caution on questions to LL- every question I ask is answered with something like "well a donation to Warhawk football...". Of course, maybe I should stop asking to call plays.
