I love PSU's uniforms. I'm all for tradition rich schools with excellent old school uni's keeping they uniforms the way they are.

Schools with little tradition or bad old uniforms, change away.

Schools like USC, PSU, Notre Dame, Nebraska, Alabama, etc. should keep their unis just the way they are.

According to this, they are considering new uniforms...after all!! (paragraph 12)  Good for them!!

Hi Guys, miss me?      Been a busy summer.  Just saw Matt B. on the local ABC news sportscast standing next to Jay!  This is so much fun.  He is an awesome young man and to have him in BEARS camp is just icing on the cake!   So excited for the new season, BEARS and WARHAWKS!!!!   

Nice to have you back 413.  We're all hoping Matt makes the roster even if it is the Bears.  I thought you might find this interesting.

Will UWW wear the Black Jersey's they wore in this past Stagg Bowl during the regular season at all?

It seems like the football program has a New Balance deal, Any chance a big company (Nike, Under Armour, Adidas) comes in and gives them a bid? 

Also with the consecutive wins record about to be broken any chance ESPN Gameday would ever come to the Perk?  Wishful thinking I know, but I would love it!!!

One of those traditional teams, Nebraska, will be wearing this alternate uniform for the game against Wisconsin. Not a fan of schools who don't list black as an official color suddenly using black, just for the heck of it.

competition? I sure hope is part of the 54 man roster!

I could tell you but then I'd have to kill you!   
  I don't think I'd be divulging any inside info because simple observation tells us this but when the Bears pared down from six to four QB's before camp, releasing their 5th round draft pick from last year, his odds of, at least, making the practice squad improved greatly!    Comes down to whether the Bears want to keep three or four.  That is probably the biggest hurdle he has to clear now.  Oh, and if another team releases a QB somewhere in the league that the Bears decide to pick up.

I think I'll leave the dissecting of the bears roster to bears fans.  In case Lovie is reading this, I don't want to give them any rational advice. 

San Diego may be looking for a QB since Kyle Boller signed a one year contract yesterday and suddenly retired today. They only have an UDFA behind Rivers, so they might be in the market for a vet - say a 10 year vet who is probably No. 3 on a depth chart when his team might only keep 2 - hey the bears have a 10 year vet that might qualify!!

Trust me I've been called worse.

Just back from bass fishing.  I caught more bass today than I've ever caught in one day before.  They were hitting my purple rubber worm like crazy.  The only problem was that they were mostly small ones under two pounds.  Though the last two I caught were nice.  One weighed in at 5 1/4 lbs, 22 inches and the other 3 1/2 lbs, 18 inches.  My friend took pictures of the big one with my cell phone but he forgot to save them. 

BTW, does anyone know why they don't have an NFL franchise in Iowa?

Because then they have to locate one in Illinois.
