Neither Docherty or a player from North Central are listed on either of these Hula Bowl rosters??
Perhaps they're incomplete.

One WIAC connection in the game will be WARHAWK head coach Bob Brezowitz who, as the AFCA's D3 coach of the year, was selected to be a member of the West's coaching staff.

"Neither Docherty or a player from North Central ( Radkte)  are listed on either of these Hula Bowl Rosters??"
That could be because Lenny Radtke was a late ( very late) addition to the roster.
Congrats to both players and hope they represent the Midwest well.

Congrats to Coach Brez for being named DIII Coach of the Year and going to the Hula Bowl as one of the Coaches!!!  Awesome!!  I have worn my W-WW hoodie every day since Coach Brez sent it to me.  What a nice man!!!  Enjoy the Hawaiian atmosphere!!  I know I would, but my twin, the other Barbara Long at Bridgewater, is taking her team of athletic trainers to the Hula Bowl and they won't let me go  :( :( :( something silly about not knowing anything about being a first responder.  Well, no,  but I could translate all that into French or into brownies, but no . . .I guess I'll have to watch it at home like everybody else!!!

I see that Whitewater has a football chat/bulletin board.  I was wondering if any other WIAC schools, especially UWL, has anything similar for athletics.

I don't know about the other schools.  But the WARHAWK fans are fortunately to have someone as dedicated as Voice who owns and operates the WARHAWKFOOTBALL.COM website.  It's really a lot of effort and I know that it means an awful lot to him.

So, I for one, just want to say, "Thank you, Voice."

A love tap on the applaud side just to let you know I am still wondering about the DVD re Linfield game.  Another question, to whom should I go to requiest an autograph of Peter Schmidt (sp)  Justin Beavers, the Offensive Line etc?  I got to meet and speak with Justin.  Such a personable and nice young man.  After such a tough game it can't have been such an easy task, but he was very gracious as were all the other players with whomI spoke.   I was impressed very much by their character.  Most people can win well,  but when things don't go the way you would have liked, then what you are made of really shows up.  They showed me they had lots of class.  The fans and coaches were equally very classy people.  I know I was very impressed before, during and after the game.  I was proud to have supported Wisconsin-Whitewater at the Stagg Bowl and hope to do so again!!  Thanks in advance for any help you can give me on my quest for autographs for my office. :)

Olinemom,
For pictures of the players, you might want to contact Tom Pattison, the editor and resident photographer of Warhawkfootball.com.  He has a gallery of digital pics and also has access to the players on a regular basis to get autographs. He is a terrific man and while incredible busy, would help if he can, I am sure, especially for a pan of brownies!!!   LOL

Hey Bluegold 45..can't help thinking ahead to Sept 2nd in Collegeville.  It looks like EC looses many key players to graduation.  What can we look for in 06?

To all the Ex-Warhawks out there:

Does Brez still have a summer work program AKA the "stadium crew"?

I met three3's and warhawkexpress at the wesley game and they didn't seem to know what I was talking about.  They said you work your butt off in the summer for him but that's not how I remember it,  any help on this :-\...

I got this from Duffman's post over in the MIAC.

Check out what this idiot sports writer says and then post a response if you like.

I don't even know where to begin on this guy's lack of knowledge... Looks like he's generated a few responses, including one from Pat Coleman, who nails it on the head in his post.

The reporter rips on UPS's football program; as one who know a little bit about reporting and journalism, I can only say if he's a graduate of or reflects that school's journalism program, that's in worse shape than the football program...

While UW-Whitewater may be having the latest post-season football banquet in the country this year (Feb 19th), the delay hasn't doused the excitment of Warhawk fans over ithe team's run to the Stagg Bowl and most successful season in school history. The excitemtent can be portrayed in the fact that a number of players parents & families are planning to tailgate in the Perkins Stadium parking lot prior to the late afternoon banquet.
