Enough of the conference "what ifs"...I could care less whether the NWC, CCIW or MIAC is the toughest conference (besides the WIAC). The only thing I care about is whether UWO can out play UST tomorrow for a victory and birth to the Stagg Bowl!

GO TITANS!  8-)

They definitely can. I don't know if they will, but they definitely can.

I think it's fair to say the UMU/UMHB winner will be favored over the winner of the other b-squad game happening on Saturday, so says most of the country.  What's it gonna take for that sentiment to change, at least to some degree?  UST shutout or a 5 TD game from Wara?  Anything, or are both squads playing for a long plane ride home next weekend?

Isn't that how Mount Union fans used to view Whitewater??

Good luck to UWO.  My bracket challenge is riding on you.

UWO 27
STU 20

Great season Titans.  You represented your university and the conference with class.  Well done.

The scores are far from the truth about any team.  Didn't think UST was so incompetent as score looked against UWW last season and this season thought Oshkosh just as good or better than UST in many ways despite outcome.

I'm not sure what this means.  The only thing that matters is winning, especially in the playoffs. All the rest is conjecture.  UWW was clearly better than St. Thomas last year. St. Thomas was clearly better than Oshkosh this year.  "Better" is not definitively defined until two teams play.  All that matters is who is better on that day.  The rest is just idle chatter.

The Titans were very good this year, but they were not great.  I think Saturday was, what, the third time they dug themselves at least a two score deficit to start the game in the playoffs? UW-W was great last year. 15-0 National Champions says all that needs to be said.  The UW-O players probably respect that all the more this morning after falling short yesterday.  If St. Thomas beats Mount, I will gladly put them in the great category.  Heck, if they play them like UMHB did, I may put them there, too!

great season Oshkosh, yesterday's game would have been epic if you had not dug yourself an early 14-0 hole, less that 5 minutes in.  Even though I'm a Tommie fan, I hope you can build upon this and make the WIAC competitive for seasons to come

Looking just at the game scoes in the two Semi-final games would give one a false picture of those games. They could hardly have been more different in the way they were played, yet both had a 2 TD margin.

Noy very insightful, just a random thought.

Congratulations to St. Thomas. They have a very strong O-line as well as a fast defensive front 7. I think it's been mentioned once or twice how balance on offense is key to playoff success and UST definitely made UWO one dimensional. At the end of the day turnovers told the story of the game. Both teams had their fair share but UST capitalized on their opportunities and UWO did not. Best of luck to the Tommies in the Stagg Bowl.
