Yeah, Alma was ranked #210 in Kickoff.

I'd probably put Waldorf in my bottom 10 of all college football. They tend to lose to the worst of the worst (or struggle to beat them).

That said, both WIAC teams did exactly what you'd expect them to do. Dominate an inferior opponent. Against that type of team, you really only learn something if the game is closer than you expect.

413 is right, you'll get a better sense once conference play starts. Both the MIAC and WIAC races will be very interesting to watch this year. Multiple teams in each appear to have legit shots at the titles.

According to P-ville's website the UWP-Stout game on Oct 26 and the UWP-WW game on Nov 2 will be televised live on Fox Sports North (FSN).  Does anybody know of other games on FSN?

I was told that the Stout/WARHAWKS game is being televised by FSN though I don't know whether it will be live or on a delayed basis.  Typically FSN's broadcasts of WIAC events are on a delayed basis.

FSN had the Whitewater-Stout game in their listings as a live broadcast on that Saturday, with several replays the week after.
What the hell was that?  That was a Drop-kick.  Drop-kick? How much is that worth?  Three points.  THREE POINTS?!

It's nice FSN picked this back up..I know they didn't replay any WIAC games last season.

This would be AWESOME!! As it stands now, the Stout game looks to be the first home game I will miss in years and years and years! I have a nephew who committed a cardinal family sin and scheduled his wedding the day of a UW-W home football game. The good news is that I will be able to catch at least half of it on TV before having to leave for the wedding.  And no, his grampa won't be attending the wedding.  ;)

My oldest son dabbled in the idea of a fall wedding back in 07, #33's senior year!!!  I asked him if he really wanted to get married without his folks and best man.  He said, "you guys would pick a football game over my wedding?'  I said, "Seriously?  He is playing and has a responsibility to the team. Do you really want to find out the answer to that question?"   We had a July wedding in 08.   ;) :D ;D

I did have friends who got married at the halftime of the Super Bowl in 1997 (at a party, not at the game). They aren't married anymore.

In the future, these will usually be posted on the UWW QB Club website, but am posting it on the blog to give people a chance to read it before Saturday's game.
