Watched the game on the computer.....coverage surprisingly better than decent.  I was very impressed with Warhawk defense and receivers. Will try to be at the Perk for the Linfield game(first time in two years). Pound the Rock.....Will watch the tape of the 2005 game again to get the blood going......

Looks like Linfield had yet another solid contributed get injured from their defense, today. That's tough, you never want to see that happen.

I have a feeling Linfield's D will still give UWW's O fits, no matter what.

please call the red cross we need some help.. :o :o :o

What are the roads like from MKE to UWW?

It's an easy hour plus drive. I live right outside Milwaukee and make the drive to whitewater all the time.

Speaking of Franklin, I was listening to the post-game show and they mentioned that UWW is trying to fit Franklin into its schedule next season. I, for one, love the idea of scheduling Franklin for next year.

Yes both coaches pretty much confirmed it. Week 2 at Franklin. Not sure if it is a formal agreement or not, but it is certainly on its way to becoming that. Franklin is a great scheduling catch for UW-W. They will likely be a Regionally Ranked Opponent that ends up with an excellent record (SOS).

This is great news.  I'd like to see the Wash U series continue if possible too.

I don't believe this is going to continue. Wash U goes into a conference and loses a lot of its non-conference dates.

Looking forward to having you. Hope you guys heal up a little bit. It sounds like a couple Cats got banged up again today . Hopefully, both teams will be as healthy as possible next week.  It should be a great game!
That has been our story all year---injury after injury, especially for our defense, even before the season started.   We will be short against you Saturday.

I received a call today from a Warhawk fan I met in Maui several years ago.  We reminisced about our days at the beach and comparing our fine football programs over a few adult beverages.  He welcomed us back to the Perk once again and I thanked him but indicated we would prefer to be welcoming the Warhawks back to the Catdome and hopefully have a replay of the best game I've ever witnessed in 2005 (I just didn't care for the outcome).  We're looking forward to improving on our 0-2 record with you folks but as you known we've gotten a little beaten up over the season so hopefully we can still give you a game.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Stop already. You think you're going to kick our butt and you know it.  We'll see, Mister. Gosh you Linfield guys are so cocky!  ;)

Anyone who attended, watched or listened to one, or both of the previous Linfield vs. UW-Whitewater Playoff Games (44-41 2005) (27-17 2009) understands the intense respect that has developed.

For you UW-Whitewater football fans, I strongly recommend that you check out the unofficial Linfield College Football fan Website. Advantage CATDOME is an amazing site that gives the viewer a healthy dose of Linfield College football news, video features, and more. Wildcat 11's Website is what I strive for on my own Website. In advance of Saturday's Linfield at Whitewater D3 quarterfinal at the Perk click on the link to get an up close view of what makes Linfield fans so passionate about their football program.

Wildcat11 does have an outstanding website, and we fans are appreciative of our good fortune. He won the alumni service award at Homecoming this year for the incredible job he does on it, all for his love of Linfield.

Bleedpurple, you have us pegged, don't you? What a rematch this will be! Two tough teams with history and mutual respect.

I hope our boys heal up, but I think it's a given that not everyone will be able to play next week.

Sheesh Voice, you're going to make me blush!  Thank you for the very kind words.  Warhawkfootball.com has been a must visit for me for years to keep with your guys.  It's a standout website.  Thank you again and I'll see you at the Perk.
