I forgot to add that it is also gratifying to see that the Head Coaches in all three Championships are UWW grads. Keeping it in the family is a good thing.

Agreed. And one of my favorite aspects of the story (as most would probably assume).  And one other fun tidbit: All three coaches played for the coach after which the venue of his sport is named.

News story on the main page. UWW/TCNJ is a home and away series, lovely!

Findlandia vs. WHITEWATER

http://dailypeninsula.com/2014/06/10/finlandia-university-football/

Also, I'm glad to see TCNJ will be coming to Whitewater in 2016. I would much rather see a regional non-conference game, but I guess beggars can't be choosers.

Isn't the NCAA dropping the regional thing and considering any game against a DIII opponent?

Pretty much correct. Regional games as a determinant are out. For a team like UWW, getting any DIII to come play has to be a victory. Kudos to TCNJ for stepping up.

Nice...I didn't know that.

It was in effect last year which is why Buff State and and WashU (especially WashU) helped UWW in the regional rankings.

And playing Finlandia in 2015 is great as well. Should shame any team who doesn't want to play UWW that a brand new program is willing to do it.

And kudos to Findlandia.  Really stepping up for a program in their inaugural season.  Scheduling two  WIAC programs in their inaugural season when I suspect they could have found other opponents without too much problem.

According to the link, that's 3 WIAC opponents for 2015. Oshkosh, Whitewater, and Point.

If I am piecing the information together correctly, UW-W should have all three non-conference games scheduled already for 2015. And all of them are at home.  This reasoning assumes Franklin is a "home and home" and that the report that TCNJ will be coming to UW-W next year is true.

KitchenSink

That would be great.  4 home games this year - and one on a Friday - is a really crappy schedule.
What the hell was that?  That was a Drop-kick.  Drop-kick? How much is that worth?  Three points.  THREE POINTS?!

I may have read it wrong, but I believe that the article on the main page said that TCNJ would be coming to Whitewater in 2016.

Indeed, the front page story does say TCNJ is in 2016.

TCNJ's conference expands next year so their non-conference schedule for 2015 was already full.

Ahhh...my mistake. Well, I guess it's still a good thing to have one of the 2016 games set.
