Using WHITEWATER as the southern most conference school, Superior as the northern, LaCrosse to the west and Oshkosh to the east the center of the WIAC is located at 2864-3140 Cty Highway X Pittsville, Wi.  Pittsville looks to be about 35 miles west of Stevens Point.

Yes, I know this is meaningless, trivial and a waste of my time.  But I don't care.  It's the offseason.

If the summer is that slow for you, you can come to my work and help. Summer is usually the slow season but it's been crazy lately, we could use the help!  ;)

Now that Superior is leaving the WIAC what is the new center? ;D

Using Eau Claire as the northern end and leaving the rest as they were the center of the conference shifts to 6587 20th Ave  Mauston, Wi.  That's out in the boonies north of the city in the Castle Rock Lake area.

And just to add another tidbit of meaningless, trivial time wasting drivel I will mention that yours truely was born in Hess Memorial Hospital  Mauston, Wi.

Looks like Pioneer Stadium will be ready by mid September.  First home game is Dubuque on September 13.  If its not ready then it should be ready the next home game on October 11 for Homecoming when River Falls visits.

Anybody know the date that camp opens for UWW?
Any word on a scrimmage game?
It's not too early to begin planning Franklin road trip.

UW-W's punter/kicker is Lake Bachar.  He is a stud and to get him last year was a coup for UW-W.  He was ranked the 40th best punter nationally for the class of 2013 by the prestigious Kohl's Professional Kicking Camps rankings.  They hold 105 kicking events and many kids attend multiple camps to maximize exposure. So to split hairs on rankings is really difficult, but there is a good measure of eyeballing and measuring the results on a head to head basis. Some of the kids around Bachar's rankings went to some big time schools:

#38 Auburn
#41 Florida
#44 Georgia Tech
#45 Missouri
#48 Washington
#53 Alabama

Again, this is not a precise science, but it's fair to say he has a great leg to be in that kind of company.

Oh, and he was ranked the 47th best place kicker by Kohl's also.

Are any of them punting/kicking yet?
Reality is for those who lack imagination 😀
