I'd like to make an appeal in this room for some support of Kickoff '15. We've gotten great support from the WIAC fan base in the past and it would be great to have that level again this year. Here's the link. Would hope for all the help we can get, especially since we seem to be covering the WIAC for 16 weeks a season the past decade. :)

already got mine, don't know why anyone wouldn't go ahead and order it.  Costs less than lunch and is full of great information.

I know we all disagree on a lot of things. With each other, with fans from other conferences, and even sometimes with Pat.  ;)

But there really can't be much disagreement about the value of Kickoff.  $11 is just ridiculous.  It is a better buy than Apple right now  (And, yes, you should be all over Apple at these prices, even after today).

I can't imagine how much time Pat and Keith put into all this!  Pull the trigger guys (and gals)!  Knowing something about each team helps make the D-III scoreboard watching MUCH more fun!  We all love D-III and the stories behind it.  It is great reading!

I am a couple of weeks ahead of the game but for anyone not able to make the 12 hour drive to watch the UWW opener in Mississippi, it does appear they stream their games

I can't wait until camp opens so we can talk football instead of politics. Oh that's right it already has! :o

How about we ease back onto the gridiron with some highlights of Conor Simpson, Whitewater's transfer WR from Washington State University.

Let's have another discussion about WW recruiting and public/private schools, then, OK?

Nooooooooooooo!!

OK, you win. Walker rules!   ;)

Not D3, but interesting nonetheless:

"At Auburn, Athletics and Academics Collide"
From the Wall Street Journal

For many years, Auburn University had been enrolling their athletes into the public administration department. So much so, Public administration majors account for less than 1% of Auburn's undergraduate student body. But in the fall semester of 2013, documents show, 51% of the 111 students pursuing the degree were athletes.

The political science faculty voted 13-0 to remove public administration as a major. The faculty body voted as well to remove it.

Once Jay Jacobs, the athletic director, got wind of all this, he started working the phones and promises were made of athletic money going to subsidize the costs of the public administration department.

To make a long story short. Auburn still has a public administration major.

Will be interesting to see if he's one of the transfers that excels or flops.

As a University of Georgia alumni, I can assure you that Auburn is a bunch of cheaters and thugs, the only thing I can think of worse than Auburn is the University of Florida...and maybe Alabama or LSU....or Arkansas and South Carolina.

What's up with the Wisconsin DMV? Mark Speckman denied a driver's license yet has been driving since he was 16 with a clean record. Do disabled vets get denied too?
