Not D3, but interesting nonetheless:

"At Auburn, Athletics and Academics Collide"
From the Wall Street Journal

For many years, Auburn University had been enrolling their athletes into the public administration department. So much so, Public administration majors account for less than 1% of Auburn's undergraduate student body. But in the fall semester of 2013, documents show, 51% of the 111 students pursuing the degree were athletes.

The political science faculty voted 13-0 to remove public administration as a major. The faculty body voted as well to remove it.

Once Jay Jacobs, the athletic director, got wind of all this, he started working the phones and promises were made of athletic money going to subsidize the costs of the public administration department.

To make a long story short. Auburn still has a public administration major.

As a University of Georgia alumni, I can assure you that Auburn is a bunch of cheaters and thugs, the only thing I can think of worse than Auburn is the University of Florida...and maybe Alabama or LSU....or Arkansas and South Carolina.

How about Kentucky hoops?

One thing that very few people realize about Georgia is that the Womens gymnastics team is the second highest draw for attendance for any sport on campus, so we don't think about basketball much down there.  UWW is the first basketball team I have ever really tried to follow and they haven't disappointed.

KitchenSink

Apparently the D3 wizards think that UWW will lose at Morningside.  In Kickoff, UWW predicted to go 9-1 (7-0 conference).  Hard to imagine they mean Belhaven or Finlandia.

They could be right, should be a heckuva game.
What the hell was that?  That was a Drop-kick.  Drop-kick? How much is that worth?  Three points.  THREE POINTS?!

A huge game in the pro football life of Matt Blanchard on Sat. night in Green Bay. Word is he and Hundley will play the majority of the game, with #12 taking it easy and Tolzien out with a concussion. Good Luck...Matt.

Tolzien passed concussion protocol, but the Packers announced he will be the emergency QB. Rodgers not dressed.  This will be Hundley and Blanchard's show tonight.  A big challenge tonight. The Eagles are looking at this as their dress rehearsal for the regular season and the Packers have 3 starting offensive linemen out.  Hopefully, Matt will have enough time to show what he has.

Real games are back:

Montana QB Brady Gustafson, 30-55, 434 yards, 3 TD, 1 INT in 38-35 upset of FCS #1 North Dakota State U.

Blanchard getting some mop up duty for Hundley in the 4th and throws a beautiful seam route to Janis for a TD. Listening to the eagles radio broadcast while watching the TV video and they were very impressed with that throw. They said there are scouts for 5 teams plus 2 canadian teams in attendance, so maybe if he finishes strong, someone might take notice.

Raheem (?) Bailey from Delaware Valley making a couple catches for the Eagles, too.

Matt throws an INT at the 6 while he was driving the Pack...but the announcers (correctly) stated that it was the receivers mistakes for pulling up and not completing the route. He gave up after the ball was already released and the DB made a backpeddling INT.

Judging on how much time he got that game, I don't think it's looking good for Matt. I think the Packers have their minds made up about their backup QBs.

It was pretty much made up the second they drafted Hundley, whether people want to admit it or not is a different story.
