UW-La Crosse eyes physical battle against UW-River Falls

http://lacrossetribune.com/sports/uw-la-crosse-eyes-physical-battle-against-uw-river-falls/article_0a7c2845-8b9a-50fb-b0be-b83ff9e933f0.html

Just wanted to say thanks for posting the La Crosse stuff ScreamingEagles. We appreciate your contributions keeping us informed about UW-L.  I appreciate your forthright opinions as well.

Could you replicate yourself in every WIAC community now so we could have weekly stuff on each team??  ;)

Thanks bleed - sometimes these articles get a little lost in the random squabbles and visitors from other boards that we have, but I just assume people still read them.  It would be fantastic if we could find some more participation from other conference schools, but that's a discussion (a lengthy one at that) we've all had before.
I know I read them and assume others do too.  And I think everyone values your opinions of the Eagles as well. I'm glad Cummings has been cleared to play. Hopefully, he can stay healthy the rest of the year.  Thanks again and enjoy the games this weekend.

And Jake Arrieta is the best right hander on earth. Pretty much unhittable since the all star break  ;D

I had upper-deck box seats at Wrigley this past Sunday and saw Arrieta pitch for the first time in person. He threw a perfect game through six, left after seven having held a darned good Pirates team to no runs, one hit, no walks, and one hit batsman while striking out nine and jacking a homer to left-center for good measure. He had all four pitches working, and the Bucs couldn't come close to hitting any of them. That guy is sick.

Hoping for a similar outing on the 7th against the Bucks.
Ditto!!

Just went over to the NAIA victory whatever.com. Man do they have a high opinion of themselves. I would suggest the get a strong dose of reality over there. I would put the top of D3 against them anytime.  Of course in hindsight it was all about Morningside being over ranked, overhyped, etc...  There comments about how no NAIA team should ever lose to a D3 was over the top.  Did I miss something over the last few years and the NAIA suddenly became some super association and they forgot to mail out the flyers to my zip code? Morningside was a really good football team that lost to an even better football team.  Now back to what really matters, the WIAC and Saturdays games

(509)Rat and I get in-depth in this week's NWC/D3 games picks as we breakdown UWW vs. Platt.

I like the analysis of the UWW game. Short and sweet

If you are on mobile then you likely are seeing an ad that you need to x out of.  Otherwise it should work fine on a desktop/laptop, although sometimes they want you to answer a survey question or two to read the article.

I was able to read from I Phone BW.

The UWL - UWRF game is very intriguing. I hope both can get out of their offensive rut.

Are you kidding with this?  Who is doubting UWW?  Where are all of these doubters?  This invented nobody-believed-in-us crap is insufferable.  Absolutely insufferable from a team that has won 6 out of 8.

It was on a lap top but I remember that there was a pop up ad on the page and I disregarded it.  This time there was no pop up and the article displayed without any problem.  So ignoring the pop up was probably the problem.  Thanks for sharing it.

Bleed, isn't this the second season that you've used that signature?   It seems like it's been on there longer than just this year.

Good effort.  Good luck to the Warhawks.  What a plucky, feel-good, underdog story they are.

Good question, I don't remember last year.  But who could forget his WIWA campaign?
