Sakman 1111

This week the BluGolds at Carson Park and already talk for a game of the century......still have two weeks to go and games to play before UWW vs.UWL.....Some guy said that Beaver had an average game because he averaged 3.2 yards a carry without the 97 yard run. That would get my vote for the stupidest comment of the year. It reminds me when Dave Wanstedt use to say the team played good defense except for the three long plays that went for touchdowns....Gimme a break.....UWW crowd was amazing at OshKosh ---a real nice turnout. If you come to a game at Titan Stadium I would suggest Fratello's Brew Club on the river---good food and drink--a real nice place......OshKosh's linebacker a true All-American he seemed to be in on at least half the plays....UWW offense played very close to the vest in the second half which was something new to see.....Great job by the defense and the offensive line......Titans lined up Neff in different slots but they couldn't get to Jacobs.....GO Warhawks!!!!....

Sakman,
I agree with you that the Whitewater offense played very conservative in the 2nd half. I have seen this happen in the past but not for a couple years. I think they were making sure not to put their defense in a bad position. However as it showed before the end of the first half when Beaver fumbled. The Defense is good enough to step it up when put in a tough spot.
I think that if the defense keeps playing the way they are the Hawks are on their way to another greats eason. Remember DEFENSE WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS,and offense wins games.

Any Azusa fans out there that saw both the WW and LAX games?  if so, what's your take on the two WIAC teams?

CaptainKurt

I don't know if too many Asuza Pacific fans come on this website.

Hey raider,

Sent you an e-mail. Just got back from the Touchdown Club luncheon.

After watching the highlights it's still hard to believe the Devils lost.  :P

Whitworth is a damn good team however.

UWPSUPERFAN77

I, the UWPSuperfan77 will be at the UWP Stout game, anticipating a UWP win, in the finest D3 Stadium in the Country, sitting on the 50 yard line. good Luck Stout!

First of all I am going to call out all of the WIAC supporters for the fact that since yesterday at  11:33 when I last posted there have only been  two additonal post. One from a super fan of D3 BDB and from a self proclaimed fan UWPSUPERFAN77. What is the story here. You keep saying your conference is something special.....then show your support!

I plan to be at the Eau Claire/Whitewater game tomorrow, which is a two + hour drive for me. How many of you will be there? As the saying goes if I can't see the #1 team in the country play( and I don't need to tell you who that is) I guess I will "settle" for #2!

Let's get together tomorrow. I won't be hard to find. I have my scouting duties to perform you know. Let me know if anyone from this site will be there and we can trade lies.  LOL.

By the way I think Stout is going to prevail VS Plattville. JMHO.
WELCOME TO THE MACHINE!

I look for UW Stout to be hungry after there overtime loss last week.  If the Referees at UWP call a fair game, UW Stout will win big.  :)

Raiderguy.  I agree with your "calling out" the supporters of WIAC football.  Having said that, I am as guilty as anyone.  I have  not been posting at all.  My good buddy, BDB, however, has been carrying the ball for me.  Sorry I missed you after the Stout game the other day.  I will be doing the Stout game today and I, too, think Stout will be ready.  You are going to see a great game.  Tell me what you think of Carson Park.  It is one of my favorite places.

Raiderguy- planning on going, will look for some Mt. Union attire.
If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

Flash, he's easy to find and a great guy to watch a game with. Maybe you guys should head over to the Stout Ale house after the game and I'll meet you there.

Raider's got my cell #.

In the meantime I'll be listening to StoutGuy do the radio broadcast of the Devils game down at P'ville as I do my hockey thing.
