Hey bluedevil robert. Welcome to the board but how about doing us both a favor and changing your name to something original?

badgerwarhawk, deja vu all over again?  ???

One can only hope it doesn't cause you as much trouble as it caused me.  ;)

I saw the story regarding Luke Homman on the news last night.  Sure hope he's found ok.  What in the world is going on up there in LaCrosse?

Fromm all accounts it looked like the Warhawks rolled to a very easy victory this apst weekend. I am disappointed I didn't get tos ee it as I was in Lincoln Nebraska watching their game against Kansas.
The onyl bad thing I saw were the fumbles by the Warhawks as well as the penalties which Badgerwarhawk pointed out.
It was also interesting to find out that some fo the shirts that Whitewater fans wear to the games have a phrase on them which has been trademarked by the university of nebraska after the 1993 season "UNFINISHED BUISNESS"As Nebraska produced a videow ith that anme and obviously copyrighted the video and trademarked the phrase.
Hope whoever made those shirts doesn't get in trouble for that as they obviously didn't do their homework in regards to the copyright and trademarking laws.
Hopefully this won't cause any problems for UW Whitewater and thier athletic department.
Okay well this week it's the Pointers and once again i am not going to be there as the Wisconsin vs. Northwestern game is calling my name. However I will eb there for the BIG showdown against Lacrosse a week from Saturday.
Had to amke a choice Point or Lacrosse and I picked Lacrosse

doclittle,

I am not a lawyer, but I have played one on the radio once.  Anyway, I believe that Nebraska's 1993 video entitled "Unfinished Business" may have been copywrited, but that doesn't mean the phrase "Unfinished Busness" is copywrited. Only as it pretains to that certain vidio.  It is the same situation as Titletown as it refers to Green Bay. Maybe a lawyer out there can chime in on this issue.

doclittle

Voice,
That totally makes sense, and after looking on the internet about stuff like that your right. Whicvh basicaly means Whitewater  could not make a video from this seasoned if they win the Stagg Bowl and title  it  "Unfinished Buisness".
I also found a site were you can easily get thiongs copyrighted for chea.; This is neat ebcause I am putting together some videos for a class and everything which I may just get copyrighted when I am all done with them.
Also there is a difference between a copyright and a trademark, and indeed the phrase such as "Unfrinished Buisness" can indeed be trademarked, which it is. While the video they made was copyrighted.

For those who don't know, Luke Homan's body was found in the river by police. Please keep his family in your prayers.

Doc -

Based on your spelling abilities, I certainly hope the material you're gathering is to take a class, not teach it

doclittle

That is a horrible thing that happen up in Lacrosse. I wouldn't wish anything like that on my worse enemy.
Also Rico I do not teach the class. Rack that one up to being up all night this weekend partying it up in Lincoln. Blackshirt style.
Nor did I know that your the spelling police, does Pat pay you for that job. Just kidding it's been a long weekend and it's going to be a long night as the Packers are going to get it handed to them.

LOL

I was thinking the same thing but doclittle saved himself with the disclaimer.

Boy I hope I s-p-e-l-l everything right now.

Just kidding Doclittle.

Maybe it's because you chewed your fingers below the first knuckle after that game?

WELCOME TO THE MACHINE!

"Check out last week's Weekly Phlogging and we'll have more Phlogging for you in a couple of days! We had four photographers at eight games this weekend.
And my favorite shot so far of the weekend, from mine, is Whitewater's quarterback Brian Ryczkowski's tackle of Eau Claire's Zach Paul's (No. 6) fumble recovery. Way to put yourself on the line Brian!"

Yeah that is true as well. The game was crazy. However if you ever want to see a neat college football atmosphere. Try and go to a game in lincoln. It is really something else.
