What about DE Karlen from UWSP?

UWSP DE Aaron Karen showing out at Minnesota Regional Combine running a 4.63 in 40. Would've tied for second best at NFLCombine.

Sorry Cubs, I don't see him listed on NFL Draft Diamonds.  But, don't be offended since they don't have interviews with a lot of prospect. I don't know how they picked the guys they did. You'd have to ask them.

No apologies needed!!!!

I just happened to stumble across that on Twitter, and to be honest, I didn't realize he was even at the Regional Combine.

That was the same regional where a former NAIA player reportedly ran a 4.19 40 yard dash.

A story in the Wisconsin State Journal indicated that UW-Oshkosh's Zach Kasuboski and Joe Summers, UW-Eau Claire's Isiah Cage, UW-Stevens Point's Aaron Karlan and UW-Platteville's Andrew Erickson will be participating in Wisconsin's Pro Day today.

From Gil Brandt on NFL.com:

"Wisconsin-Oshkosh tight end Joe Sommers -- 6-2 3/4, 241 -- ran the 40 in 4.65 and 4.64 seconds. He had a 36-inch vertical and 9-foot broad jump. He had a 4.34-second short shuttle time and 6.91-second three-cone time. He also had 23 reps on the bench. He was described as looking good moving around and catching passes.

Wisconsin-Eau Claire offensive tackle Isiah Cage -- 6-0 3/4, 313 -- ran the 40 in 5.26 and 5.29 seconds. He had a 28-inch vertical and 8-foot-3 broad jump. He did the short shuttle in 5.51 seconds and the three-cone drill in 8.9 seconds. He also performed 26 bench press reps."

These guys are all the real deal. I hope every one of them gets their shot.

I read yesterday evening that Scott Tolzien is on the Bears radar as a back-up to Cutler.   Tolzien played at Fremd High School in Palatine before playing for the Badgers.    It would be great if both Scott and Matt Blanchard ended up on the Bears.  While the odds of this are probably better than me winning the Lottery, it would still be a long shot.

ST signed with the Colts...when it appeared that Brett Hundley, a drafted player the Packers had more invested in, had passed the FA Tolzien on the Packer depth chart. I guess the Colts like former Badger QB's - Jim Sorgi made a career as a backup in Indy.

I'm pretty sure I'm late to the party here, but I just now realized that both the head men's basketball head coach (Nate Oats) and head football coach (LL) at Buffalo were coaches at UWW before moving out there.

Didn't realize that Buffalo has created a little coaching pipeline to UWW.... :o  ;)

Saw this on BadgerNation.com:

Ryan Ramczyk, the former Point OLineman who transferred to UW, has been working as the first team LT during this first week of spring drills. His addition to the Badgers has OC Joe Rudolph rather excited.

As a d3 fan, I think this is great. Shows a lot of folks how quality the best of D3 are.

As a Huskers fan, I find this quite annoying  :P  ;)

No self respecting receiver wants to be lumped in with kickers. He should immediately transfer back to UWW and get the respect he deserves.

They might have lifted him on their shoulders once they caught up to him, but as seen on this video, we'll never know for sure... https://twitter.com/TheBadgerNation.  Scroll down to the correct tweet to view video highlights of the competition.

Funny he's the guy kicking a fieldgoal- his name always reminds me of Ray Finkle- wide left.
He's got some new pipes to go along w that kicking leg.
Come back Ricky.
