I'm just fascinated with the rise and fall of Albion.

Come on now you guys.  You have to put things into context.

Speaking of context, I see Dylan Hecker played today and scored on a 65 yard run on the first play of the game. Welcome back.

Next week, things could get easier for the Titans. Their opponent, Morthland, played at Lyon College today. Lyon was looking for the first win in program history.  They got it, beating Morthland 63-26.

UWO plays the all Game of Thrones team names.

Btw- UMHB looks serious this year. Linfield made their mistakes but I think UMHB's speed caused a lot of the breakdowns.

Actually, Morthland and Lyon will conclude their season playing Faber College, Adams College, Great Lakes College, and the South Harmon Institute of Technology.

I thought that game was a replay of Louisville and Florida State.

Slow week for the WIAC (except if you're a Stout fan). I guess all eyes will be on the Linfield/MHB game.

It will be fun watching our little brothers play  ;D
Kidding, just kidding.

I'm very interested in the CCIW games. Is Carthage really good?  I have a rooting interest in them as they have recruited some local kids - including the starting and back up QB.
Also interested to see if NCC is back to form.

You could also watch Morningside vs Dordt (1pm central time) in a big NAIA tilt in the Great Plains Athletic Conference. Trap game for Morningside? Two undefeated teams on the gridiron, can't beat that!!

That, my friend, you cannot find on D3football.com scoreboard.

Dordt never stood a chance. It took :26 secs from the opening kickoff for this game to essentially be over. Morningside scored 49 first quarter points on their way to a 87-14 victory at Sioux Center, Iowa. Dordt handed MC 42 of the 87 points off turnovers. Dordt was undefeated coming in, but they're up there with Morthland in skill and football ability. They had the ball for just over 4.5 minutes in the entire second half. I just want to publicly thank Dordt for totally wasting 30 minutes of my valuable time (I only watched part of the first quarter). That's some seriously bad football even for the NAIA.

Looks like a long day in store for the Warhawks next Saturday. Hopefully, UWW can hold that juggernaut Morningside team to at least 14 points under their 74.5 point/game average in Whitewater.

Really BoBo? You're better than that. Well.....maybe not ;D

Still stunned over that Linfield/MHB outcome. Never thought I would see the day where the Cats get 60+ dropped on them. Unreal. Congrats on the Cru, very impressive.

Good luck with that.  ;)

Morningside week is here.
If I found the correct NAIA website, it appears we have the D3 #2 vs. the NAIA #2 teams matching up.

Some initial questions that come to mind:
-Did UWW benefit more from the wind and rain in last year's contest (stated another way, was Morningside's speed/athleticism hampered more than UWW's)?
-Will UWW be as effective or even more effective in the running game?
-How does the Ware/D. Patterson combination compare to the Ratliffe/N. Patterson combo from last year?
-Will the UWW LB's and DB's tackle well in the open field, especially against Morningside athletes?
-Will UWW take advantage of their big tight ends in the passing game?

oh,
And who the heck will play QB for UWW?

1. Yes, I think the weather helped UWW last year. Whenever the weather gets nasty it always seems like the opposition suffers more than the Hawks do. To me, that's because of the style of play the Warhawks have.
2. Do you mean compared to last year?
3. Call me crazy but I think our current RB combo might be better than last years. Seems to be more speed.
4. This one worries me. I think our front 7 will do good. But the secondary will be facing some talented players Saturday.
5. I hope so
6. I'm guessing Chris will start
