Thanks. Now, what about the other schools? You know, where hunting is not as big?
Just trying to get a discussion going while taking my mind off of Saturday's game. Damn, I wish we were playing Rowan.

My prediction. The team with the most points after 4 quarters will win.
Not necessarily true!

This is tough for me to admit, but... my son is a Jr at UWW. Last week he asked me how the team was doing in the playoffs. Hmph.

So I told him the Titans were looking strong. He said wow, that's great, Leipold can really coach.

Oy.

UW-O fans - lets make it Stagg #2 it's interesting how the brackets have shifted, we faced Mt. in the same round last year, it's your turn so go to work, we'll try to do our part and we'll see ya'll in the stagg for #2, it only takes 1 point, don't look for a blowout or monkey stomp, just a W.

I appreciate the support and link. I'll make use of it.

I don't know where I went wrong, I try to think of things I said or did, or didn't do along the way. I should have tried harder to talk his mother out of the powder blue bedroom paint and into Warhawk purple.
Something.

Wait. I thought we were friends. You've turned on me. Now you're rooting for UWO to meet your Crusaders in the Stagg?
Well let me tell you, I'm rooting for the Purple Raiders to meet UMBH in the Stagg.
So there! Nah nah nah nah nah. I' d give you the raspberries but I don't know how to spell that sound.
But the thought's there! Oh what the hell, go Crusaders!

We have lots of chat back and forth about the teams and the game. Some sensible, some caustic, some just plain ridiculous. Not necessarily this board, but the playoffs in general.

As an older fan (and UMU alumnus), I have some comments. Live another day

I/we have a ton of respect for UWO and the WIAC IN GENERAL. Saturday's game could be a classic. What's better than two quality teams going at it? Offense against defense, defense against offense. Special teams play, penalties, turnovers. All the ingredients will be there for a great game.
So what's my point? As I told you earlier, I'm old. I get mixed up and I forget things. But, good luck to both teams. Hopefully no injuries since the winner goes to live another day.
How's this for being fair: Go Titans! Go Raiders! May the better team win.
Hope all of this makes sense. If not, let me know. I'll find someone to read it for me.

I posted on the OAC board, but my biggest concern is that after watching a bit of the UW-OSH game this past Saturday, I am reminded of the Size, Toughness, and Grit of the UWW teams in the Liepold era.  Not sure MTU is built for a brawl.  Hoping for a Great Game!

Like most of the Mount/UWW games, if Mount is going to win they're going to do it on the backs of the WR's and in spite of the line play.   If this game is played in a phone booth Mount will get rolled.
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

I found Coach Cerroni's comments from D3's podcast interesting about his D. He said they looked/played tired Saturday and blamed himself and staff for the way they practiced them. It's a bit of a conundrum as he's trying to get the young players the reps they need. Coach C knows it's the D he has to get to championship level.

Just guessing, if given the option (opponent with weaker D or weaker O), I think Mt would prefer playing against a weaker D. I think Mt has fared well in high-scoring affairs.

Well, they are 275-12 since 1998, so I'm guessing you are right.
