I understand all teams evolve throughout the year, but on our end, there's two reasons as to why we are actually different:

1. First year in our new offense and the guys were still learning how it functions in game scenarios

2. Defensive momentum seems to transition better week to week and we are rolling on D.

Again, I'm not going to come in here and #swingtheaxe every post, but at some point you have to stop just looking past opponents every week, that is how trap games happen and how fanbases become delusional.

Good luck to WW, I will be in attendance for this one and I'm proud of our squad win or lose.

This is disappointingly well thought out and reasonable.  I'm hoping it's because it's only Monday. Hopefully around Wednesday or Thursday we can count on you to drink a couple of Monster Energy drinks, feel the power of your Mighty Green Knights, and post about how they belong, how we have never seen a defense like yours, and how you guys don't back down from anyone. You can cite that you are ranked SECOND in Total Defense, fourth in rush defense, and eight in passing yards allowed in the NATION! Point out how your defense is ranked ahead of UW-W in every one of those categories. Maybe even say the wrong team is favored!

Just trying to give you facts to cite for when you take your Monster Drinks!  ;)

Then if UWW wins, you have to fall off the face of the Earth never to be heard from again.

But stats mean everything. Against SNC, Grinnell won the time of possession battle. Who cares if they lost 0-91... ;D

Too big, too fast, too deep.  The only thing fair in this fight is that SNC is allowed to wear the same protective gear.

Not that this is important in any way, just noting the D3 rankings of the teams remaining.
On the left side, UWW is the only team not playing a ranked opponent (obvious WIAC favoritism). Some decent match-ups by ranking of 2 v 20, 3 v 10 and 9 v 11.
I'm ultra intrigued by the St. John's v Whitworth game. I'm thinking Whitworth's performance will give us an idea of what the NWC was all about this year. Is Whitworth similar in competitiveness as Thomas More?

NCC v Bethel almost makes me want to stay in IL rather than drive up to The Perk.

On the right side, Muhlenberg and Brockport aren't playing ranked teams, leaving 1 v 24 and 6 v 14.
Frostburg v JHU would seem to be a great game.

I'm not trying to start an "easiest path" debate as it is what it is given the geographic constraints.

Bracket seemed to think that SNC was lower and UWW would have been facing 10th ranked Trine by now if the home team had won. . Obviously Trine was way overrated. If anything SNC should have gotten some ranking, but that loss to UWEC haunted them the whole season.

IMO, The Johnnies are gonna roll Whitworth.

NCC vs Bethel is easily the game of the week. 2 very strong teams.

I'd love to see Frostburg and Brockport come west for some fun. Both seem vulnerable with defensive lackluster, will be interesting to see if Brockport can win their bracket. Beatable for sure.

SJU wins by 3 scores. NCC\Bethel by far the game of the week. Would love to watch that if it wasn't for a certain game in whitewater.

Jake Kumerow practiced with the Packers today, officially making him the second and final Packers player to be formally designated to return from the Injured Reserve list. Since they burned their last "return" designation on him, hopefully they have a plan for him.

Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Hope he sees some playing time Sunday night v the Vikings.

I'm guessing it means Cobb is pretty messed up, and they need some help outside.
What the hell was that?  That was a Drop-kick.  Drop-kick? How much is that worth?  Three points.  THREE POINTS?!

Just the stats

Nice day/night for the WIAC. Platteville's Dan Arnold makes his first career TD catch (http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-game-highlights/0ap3000000991467/Drew-Brees-throws-absolute-DIME-to-Dan-Arnold-for-TD), and Whitewater's Jake Kumerow gets some love in Ian Rapoport's RapSheet (https://twitter.com/RapSheet/status/1065972243707109376).
