Even though Platteville seems to be playing good ball this season, I have a feeling RF is gonna pull it out this Saturday.  If they do, it will be the first time the Falcons have achieved 4 wins in a season since 2001.  I wish good luck to both teams.

That's where I come to the old saying "offense wins games, defense wins championships."

Actually, defense can win games.  Just ask the Bears!    ;D

Superfan---So what kind of car do you drive, or do you ride a burro?

jvilleflash .. one is not judged by what car they drive in pville ... we all drive beat up farm trucks .. and the social ladder is divided by how much milk your cow gives ... i myself have two wonderful beauties well over a 100 pounds ... so basically i'm the real deal ... i will be running for mayor this fall so dont forget to vote

quick note on this saturdays game ... sorry nate but river falls time has come .. you want some tradition .. well this is one tradition that has to come to an end ... pville will end the 15 year streak .. and bury it  in one of the slurries behind the score board ... ive yet to see the new offense i had heard they put in .. (sorry havent done my hw yet,  any insight to what they run now would be appreciated) ... but i know in the past pville defensive coaches couldnt get the right combination of players and preparation for the old one ... so im thinkin river falls signed theyre own death ticket with the implementation of the new one ... that and i know the boys in pville are ready for a rebound after the loss last weekend and no they wouldnt have scored 70 el cappytan ... that statement is a direct slap to the face ... i challenge you to a DUEL .... in chocolate milk chugging ... good luck to the warhawks this weekend ... REPRESENT

J'ville Flash,
I might have to wear my UWW hat this weekend.  The only problem is it's white and purple and we're playing at St. Thomas... >:(

We'll see how the mood strikes me on Saturday!

Go Warhawks.

Back off, Flash, while you still can.  It's a trap.  There's no way anyone can take a Platteville guy in chocolate milk chugging.  No way.  ;)

Posted on the WIAC board from a MHB poster:

At Tiger Field in Belton, fans are allowed on the field after the game.   I propose that perhaps all the posters from both schools who are at the game should meet in the south end zone after the game to put faces and nicknames together and visit a little.

I thought all the fun was before the game...

Go operation Red Out!

Go Stiftungsfestivities!

Developing....

I was that poster and I also said I was driving 5 hours that morning to get to the game.  I would love to be at any pre-game festivities, but as the Athletic Director, I have to supervise a high school football game at one of my district's two stadiums on Friday night.

I thoroughly enjoyed meeting other posters on UMHB's run to the Stagg Bowl a couple of years ago and would just like to meet a few more.  If it works fine, if it doesn't I am not any worse off.  ;D

I saw the UWW press release on the front page of D3football the other day and I thought it was a good one.  I thought you WIAC fans might like to see the UMHB version.  Go to the link below.

IPS, to the UWW Fan, that said they should have gotten 70 on UWP, dream on! It was our hard hitting defense that caused all of the turnovers. We just did not take advantage of enough of them. Also. it was a game in the first half!

UWPSUPERFAN, your hard hitting defense allowed 49 points.  Your hard hitting defense gave up 21 first quarter points.  Your hard hitting defense didn't do enough to win the game.  It was a game in the first half?  Attention moron....there are two halves in football.  Throughout the duration of both halves, your hard hitting defense got their asses handed to them.  Jesus may love a football team that can only play one great half of football, but I sure as hell don't.

SUPERFAN logic is like the old Dave Wanstadt quote explaining why his team got shutout and lost by 4 touchdowns, "the defense played a great today, except for 4 plays."

Oh, Duffman, I would consider paying to see that!!  If you do wear the hat, please have someone take a pic and post it on here!!    ;D   Too bad I didn't have a heads-up.  I could have gotten you a black one so you could be more incognito with your support!  LOL

TO Captain KURT: Some scores during the UWW Game. Platteville 7,WW0.WW 21 Platteville 14, UWW 28 Platteville 14. Also, negative Karma for your swearing. People that swear constantly are one of three things: Immoral,;Ignorant;or both. You make the call. People that name call names of people ,like Moron ,are just ignorant! I still love you as Christ loves me. Blessing to all!

I'm officially not reading any more of superfans posts.
If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

On the positive side: The weather forecast for Platteville is 42 degrees and partly cloudy for Saturday!. It is family pack day. For 20.. you get 4 tickets, 4 Brats and 4 soft drinks. Looking forward to seeing the River Falls fans, I hope some of you take advantage of this offer and save some money. God Bless!

Yeah.....Yeah....Yeah.....And sticks and stones will break my bones and names will never hurt me.  Last I checked we lived in a Democracy...D E M O C R A C Y......not North Korea.  We don't have to wash our hands and brush our teeth after every middle finger or cuss word we lash out in public.  People can say what they want for the most part....period.  Now one must ask themselves what exactly are we trying prove sometimes?  Is it to be intelligent?  Am I looking for some sort of facts?  Am I trying to prove a point?  Or am I just reading and replying information that I just want to hear for my own benefit and self-satisfaction.  The Fact of the matter is Platteville's program has been BELOW average ever since the days I was in diapers.  Now when you look at a program such as Whitewater with a strong tradition, championship accolades, and playoff experience to boot ,understand that success should never be something looked upon as negative.  Might I suggest some low impact and less than mind bending stress relievers such as flying a kite, fishing, listening to your favorite Michael Bolton song on your Ipod, or taking up lawning bowling instead of wasting your anti-positive energy in here.  I would rather be successful, confident, and relaxed while using some flippin cuss words, rather than up-tight, uninformed, and negative while not swearing at all.  Opinions matter, but cold hard facts are hard to ignore.  Negative rhetoric in saying "O, swearing is bad" and "O, gosh, cussing is wrong" has nothing to do with the game of football.  So what if you don't like it when someone swears in a chat room....no one cares.  If your talking football and have ever been on the sidelines in uniform sweating it out for 60 minutes against some SOB who would like none other than to knock you unconcious if he had the chance, I think a few choice words are going to be used.  Thats football...and thats life......deal with it........Go Warhawks......Get'er Done....and kick the snot out of those Texas bums......Yee Haaww........
"Its not how far you go, its how go you far."
