My 2019 season hope:
UWW, UMHB, MT and St. John's go 10-0 in regular season.
UWW faces SJU in quarters, MT in semi and UMHB in Stagg.
.....I' ll go for that..the Cru back in the NC again.

Is this some sort of  :P, because this is likely to happen, say UWW is #2 in region.

Bleed, has UWW reported yet? Sure am curious to see who your QB candidates are. Also very curious to see if Radavich holds onto the gig at Oshkosh, and who LaCrosse anoints. As of this moment the league's best signal caller might play in Stevens Point.

They report tomorrow.  Although, you never know until they report, if everyone reports as expected there will be some real intriguing competition at that spot for the Hawks.

Any chance you could reword this in a sequence that would be easier to decipher? Feel free to add words if necessary.

Still leaving room for interpretation. What should the word "why" be- if?
Are you trying to say "this is likely to happen only if UWW is #2 in region"?

If that's you're point, I agree. Maybe the #1's will be Mt, St John, MHB and someone from the East. I do think there is a chance UWW and St John could end up in the same region similar to last year. Rather then sending St John to play MHB, maybe they send UWW to St John and send someone else to MHB, like St Norbert.
Or maybe UWW loses one game but wins the WIAC, then the scenario is more likely?
It's my wish list though.

St. Norbert is the MWC favorite, but that league is weak and their NC schedule won't raise their profile. They won't be lowly regarded enough to be first-round fodder for MHB, or highly regarded enough to take the place of an SJU or UWW in that scenario. And sending a highly regarded team out-of-region just creates travel scenarios the NCAA doesn't want to deal with.

Obviously such early speculation is kind of silly when no games have been played and camps are just opening (but it's fun!), but I'm foreseeing another 1-bid WIAC season. UWL might be the second best team in the league, but I just can't see them romping through a very difficult NC schedule unscathed. 6-1 in WIAC, 7-3 overall (or even 8-2) will get the fellas to their tree stands for opening day of deer season, not to the football field. UWW seems to have it about right... some challenges on the NC schedule, but I don't think they're in any danger of losing a game.

Can anyone following the UWO program fill me in on how the team is looking this year? QB situation. I remember watching the 3rd string (Makinen?) sling it around pretty good last 3 games of year.
I know they're loaded on young RBs. Kid from Waukesha West? still on team. They going to grey shirt kid from Iola-skandanavia.
Kasuboski staying at TE or moving back to OLB?

I follow, Bofa, but have the same questions you do. Their Qb situation confuses me immensely. I thought landing Duranso was a huge get for the Titans but whether he played himself out of the gig or just got hurt is unclear. In either case, Radavich isthe incumbent but his grip on the gig appears tenuous. Agree on Peter Mac. I think he'll be the best RB in the league. Hope the foot injury that kept him out last year has no lingering effect.

I follow the Titans closely, but not until the season starts and I can watch games. I'm a little out of the loop here in Chicago.

I don't know about peter mac being best back in league. Pretty sure Alex Peete has got that locked down by a wide margin. Plus I imagine he'll be sharing time with Mitch Gerhartz.
The other thing I've noticed the last couple years is that UWO is becoming a Kimberly South. Quit a few guys coming down. Which is nice to see living in the Fox Valley.

Kind of shocked to see Peete as first team preseason AA. I know he's good, but I assumed there was a few guys out there that were considered better.

We'll see. Peete will be sharing the rock too, and in some ways is a victim of Whitewater's excellence. His use rate will be relatively low, and should be given Whitewater's expectation to play a 15-game schedule.

Let me know if anyone is interested in participating in this year's West Region Fan Poll. I'm looking for two (maybe three) participants.

Much appreciated
