I don't know about peter mac being best back in league. Pretty sure Alex Peete has got that locked down by a wide margin. Plus I imagine he'll be sharing time with Mitch Gerhartz.
The other thing I've noticed the last couple years is that UWO is becoming a Kimberly South. Quit a few guys coming down. Which is nice to see living in the Fox Valley.

We'll see. Peete will be sharing the rock too, and in some ways is a victim of Whitewater's excellence. His use rate will be relatively low, and should be given Whitewater's expectation to play a 15-game schedule.

This is a good point. UWW has had so many really good/great RB's over the years- getting the overwhelming majority of carries. Last year the load was shared quite a bit. Ponick had 138 carries to Peete's 252.

Interesting situation at Stout, where sophomore returning All-WIAC HM QB Sean Borgerding is in a camp battle with J. Dan Sturgeon, who started the 2017 season at the helm and engineered Stout's 25-22 upset of No. 4 St. Johns. Sturgeon got hurt shortly thereafter and sat out 2018. Most of last year's WR talent is back, too. Stout's gonna be fun to watch.

Stout, like LaCrosse, sure brings in the bodies. Looks like they've got close to 80 freshmen in camp.

I believe you mean upset of St Thomas!

My bad, Johnnie. You are correct.

And Stout beating St. John's wouldn't have been an upset.

Emma has his own power rankings which are not based on the d3football.com Top 25 poll. I'm not sure the exact criteria, but I'm pretty sure the formula is complicated, untraditional, and enigmatic.

Top 25 teams that effectively utilize the quick slant.   :)

Now that's a poll I'd put stock in (or buy stock out of.. whatever).

After reading about the strength of the WIAC in various places in Kickoff 19 (well done D3 guys), the way I figure it, it's just not an upset when a middle of the pack WIAC (Stout) beats a top tier MIAC.

Warhawk intel. Deep, locked and loaded on O, despite a couple noteworthy departures. D has some holes to fill.

UWW plays a good non con schedule to open the season so we'll know pretty early just how good this team will be. The QB battle is more than intriguing especially since they have pretty different styles. I'm not really a fan of the QB rotation approach, but this may be the exception to the rule.
With the three really good running backs, I'm all in favor a tossing in a dozen old fashioned wishbone formations w Oles under center.
Speaking of under center, I wonder if UWW will be 100% shotgun again or was that just a Cole Wilbur thing?

Some dominoes left to tumble but starting to look like Trewyn's in line to make the Bucs. He just climbed to number two on Center depth chart with release of previous backup.

Congratulations to Jake Kumerow making the Packers' 53 man roster, #2 behind Davante Adams. Jake sure worked hard to get this opportunity.
Thursday Night football- Packers and the Bears.

Hoping Trewyn gets picked up or added to practice squad.
