I'll for sure be at the game this weekend, should be a dandy. Not gonna risk watching it on whitewater's streaming service and miss it like last week. ;)

Offering Chicago's 1930s big ten prowess and their Heisman trophy winner as criteria to rival actual committee criteria that will be used to evaluate teams is what I would  call "mocking"

That's not mocking. And for the record, Gregory Sager brought Jay Berwanger into the conversation.

The Pool C discussion/debate is understandably "intense" especially this year. I remember not long ago we'd have these discussions and some posters would continually fall back on one or both of the following:
-Then just win your conference
-No pool C team has ever won/made it to the Stagg (there may be one exception from CA if I recall).

2019 turned the above two arguments on their head. I believe both Stagg Bowl participants were Pool C.

PLU won it all in 1999 as an at large selection.

I might be wrong but I think PLU was a Pool B pick back then. Pat can confirm.

They might have been Pool B USee. A 1 loss team, and that didn't win their league. But the NWC didn't have an auto bid yet. But I thought Willammette got the Pool B and PLU the Pool C. Who can remember. Either way, an at large that won it all. And multiple Pool C's that have gone very deep and even won it all.

Pool B indeed as the NWC did not have enough teams for an automatic bid. The NWC got two B's that year.

Note to UWW fans that have been beyond frustrated with the poor video feed of the home games.
I (and apparently many others) have reached out to the UWW athletic department to ask for their assistance with UWW TV. Although I wasn't speaking with a person of authority, she was very aware of the issue and couldn't have made me feel any more certain that the right people were working for resolution. I believe she said there is a meeting either today or tomorrow with a very focused agenda of getting things in order for this Saturday's game.

That's about as much as I could hope for without actually speaking to whomever heads up UWW TV, but that wouldn't have been nearly as polite a conversation as I had with the awesome representative of the athletic department.

So freaking reactive!!

I'll be fishing off Islamorada in the Keys on Saturday. I have better odds at catching a marlin or sailfish than getting a working stream of Whitewater/UWL on UWWTV.

Oooh, nice.  I want a report.  We fished near Daytona Beach last week, but it was really windy, so we stuck to inshore.  Caught a lot of fish/species, but nothing big.

A tradition unrivaled...
