Troy Dietzler is a 6'6 290 monster with really no fat on him. He is ranked in the top 10 in the state in wrestling. Father is a military man. Received at least one D-II offer. Played High School ball at Ashwaubenon High School.

A good friend of mine sister is the assistant ad at Ashwaubenon high school. He's going to ask her about him. Stay tuned.

That, paired with Addison Deshambo, whoever is 6'4, and him is gonna make for an absolute unit of an O'Line

The Superbowl is officially over...so I guess it's about time for the "Way too early" predictions for next year...What do the posters from the WIAC think about next year?

Can Whitewater make more playoff noise with a new head coach, what changes might be taking place under new leadership?

Has UWL pulled away from the field to join Whitewater and Oshkosh as a perennial contender?

Who are the sleepers (Platteville or River Falls, Stout)

Is anyone over-hyped after last year and headed for a fall off the cliff?

Your ARC neighbors want to know who we'll have to play in the first couple of rounds of the playoffs in next years "budget friendly" bracket.
Not trying to start anything, just curious what the consensus is.

Regarding UWW, besides any changes the new HC might make, the big question I have is the QB position. Unlike other years I can remember, we didn't see much meaningful play at all from the UWW backup QB's. I had hoped the staff would have planned reps for other QB's to gain experience and show game readiness during the 22 season. The stats show the two QB's behind the starter threw a combined total of 7 passes.

That's tough when you don't have any "gimmes" on your schedule.

A tradition unrivaled...

That's a fair point. The backup QB's threw all 7 of their passes in UWW's lone blowout game, which was the last of the regular season. That said, Lew had his struggles and I do think a series here and there in meaningful time would have proven not only beneficial for 2023, it may have helped Lew as well as prepare a QB in the event Lew went down.

If they do find their guy in the mix of who is currently on their roster, they'll at least have a decent amount of eligibility left.

You're always so negative, Emma. Your cherry picking your facts, conveniently leaving out the fact that all seven passes were spirals!

True enough- they can really spin it.

UMHB, Ohio Wesleyan, and Northwestern on the nonconference schedule for UWRF

https://uwrfsports.com/sports/football/schedule/2023

Great schedule for UWRF. I believe the Falcons have some excellent experience returning, including the QB/running back.

Hats off to UMHB for scheduling the WIAC as it sure helps fill schedules and creates great excitement for the matchups.

UWL takes two non NCAA Division III teams for non conference. Dakota St, Hardin Simmons, and Northern Michigan on their schedule.

Nothing out schedule wise for UWEC for non conference games. I'm assuming we have Central as a home game. I think we just wrapped up our second home and home series against Loras, so that I think have to be renewed to keep them on the schedule. We also wrapped up a home and home last year against Albion, so that will be up again also.

I hate secrets, no sense in hiding it. UWEC has the ol' Presto "That page is not currently set to be published." for their schedule page. Once d3football.com page gets created, we'll be able to see it.
