Do you really want WLC and their 15 game losing streak in the WIAC?  I think that's a recipe for disaster.  I think in a few years you may see the new Northern Athletics Conference add football, which would likely end the IBFC.

WLC is scheduled to join the Northern Athletics Conference in football in 2008 anyway. Thanks, but no thanks. (Did Dolly Madison run out of cupcakes or something?--ba dumm bumm). :) ;) :D :) ;) :D :) ;) :D

0-0 in Oshkosh; end of 1st Quarter.

La Crosse moving the ball consistently but has two (according to the radio) very questionable turnovers. One fumble at the 1 of Oshkosh when the receiver reached for the goal line with (as they said) his knee down already.

The second came at the Oshkosh 39. A UW-O DL appeared to jump offside, La Crosse thought they had a free play, Schuman hit as he threw, ruled a fumble, no penalty.

Again, I'm reporting what I'm hearing. Not trying to be a homer.

La Crosse 126 yards, almost 6 per carry; Oshkosh 30.

Jacobs 6-15 so far.  But the announcers correctly point out many of the incomplete passes were actually dropped balls.
