"Monkey Stomp"

_______

If I recall correctly a "monkey stomp" is 21 points... double monkey stomp 42....

There used to be a list of a bunch of these nicknames for different point differentials, but I searched for it and could not find it.... anyone have any info on a complete list of these nicknames???

Any help would be greatly appriciated.

You might want to post the question on the MIAC board.  They should be able to answer it for you.  I think that is where I remember reading it.
"Of course, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong!"  Dennis Miller

"Three things you don't want to be in football, slow, small and friendly!"  John Madden

"You can learn more character on the two-yard line than anywhere else in
life." Paul Dietzel / LSU

Do you think UWW's D is salivating this week more than usual going into Sat's game?  I'm sure they realize the SNC QB, Cody Craig, throws almost as many INT's as TD's (14/19).  It wouldn't shock me in the slightest if the first points on the board Sat. come via a defensive TD.

If LAX would have been moved to the North, they would have just lost to the OTHER Stagg Bowl participant for 2006.   ;)

Same difference.

You have a point, to be the best you have to beat the best. However, I think MU should have some competition on the way to Salem.. Both UWW and MU need to play 2 game at a time. Blessings!

UW-L scored 19 on South Dakota State. Probably will score more than seven on Bethel.

I would be surprised if UWL does not score 21 or more. They are well balanced and throw a lot of deep passes. God Bless!

Pat - UW LAX scored 10 on UWW. Also reason to think they will score at least 21 on Bethel.

WIAC posters: Mighty Royal is an overzealous Bethel poster who isn't used to being in the playoffs.  I mean for heaven's sake Bethel has never even won a playoff game.  Take everything he spews with a grain of salt.  I wanna see a rematch of UWW and LAX.  Both teams sound like juggernauts.

Thanks

WIAC posters: Touchdown Tommy is an overzealous St. Johns fan who has trouble finding any come backs other than our playoff record.  As I'm sure you know PC kicked him out of PP for a year and TDT has become the butt of most every joke on MIAC PP.

For what it is worth Porta is iffy for the game but Bangs has filled in nicely when needed(ask any SJU fan).  It goes to show the quality of our O-line.

Best of luck to all teams this weekend.

We sure missed all the Bethel posters on Saturday at the tailgate.  Achilles, Scrubby, Freebird, Royal?  Continue basking in the "glory" of that shared conference title.  Time to put up or shut up now!!!

Ahhhh but the Bus Driver was alive and well.  Better check your sources Freebird, TDT is good buddies with nearly all posters in the MIAC sans ANY Bethel posters.  In fact i spent the weekend hanging with a Cobber and 2 Gusties after the game.  How do you like cleaning Tony Kornheiser's toilet?  Bringing Mike Tirico nachos at halftime?

I'm not sure what that means or if it was an attempted come back...you might want to just stick with no playoff wins.

I'm pretty sure we "put up" SJU last week so maybe it is your turn to "shut up."
