I guess this posturing will go on until Saturday and some of it is quite amusing. St. John's storied and successful football program is wonderful for your alumni but what you must realize it means squat to the Warhawk football players. What they know and care about is the last few years which for most of them comes down to last year and to be honest that surprisingly was a pretty easy victory for the Warhawks. I doubt that it will be that easy this year but your rich football history will have nothing to do with the outcome of the game. As for the Warhawks I am confident that they will continue to POUND THE ROCK which will end in FLUSHING THE JOHNS all the way back to St.Cloud.

Good thing to have that delete button, isn't it, Chris.   ;D

You had quoted Duffman, so I was refering to Duffmans post questioning his age, which I didn't view as a personal attack.  You had said that both Duff and KR had personally attacked Kleppe.

I stand corrected. Duff's posting of Kleppe's picture and comment was surely meant to be a good thing.   ??? ???  I agree with Kubiak, lets drop it and move on.   And my mom can beat up AND outdrink all of yours!  ;D

We shall move forward then, unlike Michael Richard's comic career.

LOL!   +karma if I could give it.  We can move forward atleast until KR gets home from a hard day doing rotations, tired and crabby, and wants to tear me a new one this evening!!!!  ;D

I obviously missed some posts that were deleted!  Damn work getting in the way of my posting!  Don't get you panties in a bunch, fellas.  I have tons of respect for Kleppe and the Warhawks.  Afterall, I was caught earlier this season sporting this:

The Johnnies, though, will make a stand this weekend!  And if not, I may have to sport my MUC(k) hat :)

Hey, at least we've got some smack talk going down now!

I swear, nobody kisses and makes up better than Duffman.  We will overlook the fact that you wore that hat because you lost a bet, LOL!   :D

To note how absolutely impressive that was, Duff wore said hat on gameday at the corner of Summit and Cretin Avenues, which happens to be the home of the unspeakables from UST, who also adorn purple.  In other words, he wore purple on campus of our purple-clad, all-time hated rivals.  If that doesn't show devotion to UWW, I don't know what could!

Oh, don't be so modest.  Rumor has it your mom does a lot of things much more than other moms... ;D  Although she has a lot of competition in Wisconsin.

Your mom goes to College.

Sorry if I offended with the personal attacks on Kluppe's IQ. It just goes so well with the rhetoric and stereotypes.

My Uncle actually went to UWW and is now a multi-millionaire who just sold the machining corporation he built up from the ground to his son so he could retire at 57, so I know firsthand how well UWW alums can do in the real world.

My cousin is currently going to UWW, and through 1 semester he sounds like he drinks more beers in a week than he spends hours in class and studying combined... basically sounds just like my freshman year!

Well, back to doing work and paying for the priviledge... ironic ain't it? The US Navy pays my school $40,000 a year for letting me do grunt work and physicals at clinics and hospitals.

I've done my time at sea as well, KR.  Welcome aboard, sailor.

When you go to sea for an extended time, doc, you may be lucky enough to find first hand (so to speak) the answer to the following riddle:

Why do sailors use powdered soap?   (It's takes so much longer to pick up)

Weird, I had the exact same visit!

A reference was made earlier about W&J scoring 27 points on UMHB's defense. It was pointed out that 14 of those points came from 2 fumbles that were returned for touchdowns. The final TD of the game came with 5.6 seconds in the game. UMHB was in a prevent "D," which I loathe.

I don't think any serious SJU fan thinks that we are the favorite on Saturday and that almost every break is  going to have to go our way  for us to win the  game. I'm very pleased  we one the first two playoff games and made it to the final 8.  For a team to get dominated by Bethel the last game of the year like that - its a tribute to the players and coaching staff to bounce back over two good teams (Central and Whitworth).  However, Whitewater is a great team and this SJU team just isn't as good (in my opinion) as the 2003, 2000, 2002.......teams...you get my point.   I'm not saying we can't win, but it will take an error free game and I think points scored off of special teams and turnovers.  If SJU can get up by say 14-0 we have a game.   If Whitewater scores first and starts controlling the clock with their running game, its over.

This is one of those post that lets you know that people really do stop and think of the big picture...

From a WW perspective I really hope there wont be a let down after an emotional win last week over LX
