Warhawkalum should now be done with the P-ville bashing.  Looks like he's after Oshkosh with his postings no. 712 and 713.  Although a litte tuff to read with words like "sw, throing, Osjkosh, eb and hppe"  to name a few (hope he isn't a WW English major) he just can't forget about a game in 2002 that WW lost.  You may think that the entire defense of the Titans was illegal but in fact it was just 1 player.  Six other teams managed wins that year against Oshkosh and the other 3 that lost to the Titans didn't cry.

Last year P-ville BEAT WW but according to Warhawkalum it was a "fluke".  I can't find the "F" column in the standings just the W and L's.

Also didn't a Titan player (stud d-lineman) find his way on to the WW team last year just days after a suspension at Oshkosh?  Maybe legal in the WIAC but not a very good message to be sending!   Sounds like WIN AT ALL COST!

Just think if the Titan's pull an upset Saturday.  Warhawkalum will be waiting for the excuses!

Two things...

#1   The whole WW-Platteville p---ing match got started with childish ravings by "The Realist."  It was followed by even worse bashing by WarhawkAlum. Talking for most of the people on this board - we are getting f--cking sick of this crap. 

#2 WarhawkAlum, either make some sense, or take a hike.

#3 "The Realist," have your team win a game before you shoot your mouth off! You are the one that talked nonsense all last week. We were all impressed.

I feel better now - I hope the rest of you WW posters are with me on this!

yea im new to the posting thing but from what ive been reading lately im toatly with you on this one

instead of talking about eachother on this website why don't you start talking about something worth while like ww being ranked number 2 or eau claire playing there hearts out or the huge game between ww and oshkosh.  There is so much more to talk about in this league rather than people bashing eachother.  Lets get some real conversations started.

Okay here is something that makes sense the only rankings that matter are at the end of the regular season,and more importantly after the stagg bowl that being the number 1 as well as the number 2. However # 1 is a little more impressive.
As far as the game this week with the Titans and the Warhawks. It is huge but every game in the WIAC is huge.
I do believe however that the Warhawks will win,and voice please let me know if I am incorrect on this the Warhawks have only lost four games at home since 2002. Which is a very nice home field advantage. Add in the purple haze before the games as well as all the loud via the sound system music,and you got one heck of a college football enviorment.
Okay well I am happy to see that the Warhawks are ranked # 2 in the country. I am sure Brez is not letting the players get too big of heads because of it.
So to sum it all up
The warhawks are going to win the game on Saturday against the Titans,and then beat Stout on the road,as well as River Falls on November 12,and go undefeated and make the playoffs as the WIAC's Conference champion.

Just for the record, Warhawk Alum's real name is Sean O'Reilly.  It should be noted that Mr. O'Reilly is or never was a Warhawk as he never played for and or coached at the University of Wisconsin Whitewater.  It should also be noted that Mr. O'Reilly is not an "Alum" of UW-W as he has yet to graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater or any other campus for that matter.  Some would wonder by the way he speaks if he even graduated from high school.  Please take into consideration that Warhawk Alum is not an insider to Warhawk Football and that he is not associated with the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater or it's football program.  Thank you.

I would agree that Stout's emmotions were high, and as you said, they had a reason for being jacked up. And it's one thing to give you buddies a high-five or a chestbump in the endzone after a score, but Stout's celebration went far beyond that. Some of the actions that Stout did would more than likely get a flag in a Pro game, for example, pretending the ball is a gun and shooting other teammates, which happened in the 3rd quarter when Stout was already up by some 30 pts. Stout has been on the losing end of some games, and I garuntee that they would get pissed if teams did that crap to them when they are beating them by 30 pts. The Stout team could have shown a little more dignity and respect for their opponent;  they were already beating them on the scoreboard. If Stout played half as hard as they showboat, they would be National Champions.

The #2 ranking is nice and all but I've got a feeling it isn't going to mean very much to the Titan.

Hey Voice and anyone else, sorry that I posted what I felt was some good fun and conversation about an upcoming game.  Just putting in my 2 cents like everyone else here.  I'll try to keep my comments more intellectual from now on.

You want some better conversation then here.  I feel like it is very important for the WIAC to really prove themselves this year in the playoffs, whom ever those teams may be.  Surely that will include UWW and maybe UWL or UWEC or Osh Kosh, but it seems that as of recently we've struggled to make it past the second round.  Yes, I'm a UWP fan for sure, but I'm the kind of guy who would also love to see our conference kick some butt and go all the way in the playoffs becuase that just legitemizes (sp) our conference power and our rankings this season and to start of the next year. 

I'm kind of surprised that the WIAC hasn't received a #2 bid in the basketball post season since UWP won championships in the mid and late 90s and now Stevens Point has won in 2 years running.
