What a disappointing season for La Crosse!  This Stout team is not as good as La Crosse is making them appear!

UDub Fever

WW 36
Osh-7

WW passing attack..........WOW

Jacobs-5 TDs
Stanley-3
Jimmy L.-2

Finals:
Stout 24, UWL 6
UWEC 17, UWSP 3

Blugold D has five picks, including one for a score, and one to stop a Pionter drive inside the ten, to take over sole position in second place in the conference, heading into a big game next weekend vs. Oshkosh.

Joe Gast had a big game, 36 carries for 136 yards...
Ball control, keep-away game again by the 'Golds, and a D that bends but don't break, to win at Point for the first time since 1987.

That's a great Gold wrap!

Painful day for Titan fans. Speaking of Titan fans, Mr Downtown is the only person to go 4-0 today. Mr Downtown now shares the lead with Brian Carroll at 17-3.

Let me clearly state that Stout played well, and was coached well in today's 24-6 win over La Crosse. Still, I got the impression that the Eagles have given up on this season. What a lousy performance. Our two talented QB's combined for 11-40 with SIX int's. It was easily the lamest effort I have seen in the past four seasons. Yuck.

Agreed on everything. I think Eagle Cynic is watching a different team. I watched Stout running backs go up the middle of the defense untouched several times, including one for a TD.

Padmofu,

Thanks for the quick Pick-Um rankings!  ;D

What's up with LAX??????????  And Point for that matter. These two teams were expected to do well this season.  To bad they started folding so early.

1_for_27,  Great seeing you at the Warhawk game.  Happy to here your Badgers got their win.  Nice double header for you! :)

Great job Whitewater!  Oshkosh started the game with the ball and looked like they were going to bring some game.  But were out performed by Whitewater all day.  Will be fun to watch the Warhawk offense on the speedy Stout turf! 8)

WIACPOWER

went ww game and they are pretty damn good!  Osh did a pretty good job on  beaver by holding him to under 5 yards per carry...but what really impressed me was their passing game.  Man they have 2 really good receivers and they made the catches despite good coverage.

Osh had ww going backwards on several series but a "phamton " face mask call gave ww a first down instead of 4th and 30 that they later converted into a td.  (that's what happenes when your playing the no. 2 team in d3 at home)

ww defense is very quick and patek sure had one of his poorest games.

all the talk about the personal fouls that ww has had all year and how brez would clean it up, didn't happen.  ww still had a really really stupid personal foul for a hit after the whistle that gave osh a first down.  really stupid.  they still need to clean this area up and  they really get cocky after a td.  which they had several.

also their punting game is pathetic.  they might want to consider going for on 4th down instead of the 15 yard punts.

and 1 last thing.  beaver is running the ball with 3 minutes to go and a huge lead.  so maybe their coaching staff isn't to smart, because running backs DO get hurt and it might be tuff to explain how your star running back is taking 3 rushes in a row with a 29 point lead!  that lacks a little class.  but good luck to ww in the play-offs and GO WIAC!
