If you're talking about Birkhofer, he had four made field goals that were longer than any Schebler has made. Five of his misses are from 44 or beyond.

Not every field goal attempt is the same, really.

Willamette because they are in the SCIAC, on the Willamette bandwagon (sorry) against  UWW because they are farther west, now yours.....sure hope I don't jinx you.

d3football.com was aware that LINFIELD had a very kinetic weapon this season but the team stalled at 'potential' because they allowed so many of his kicks to be blocked. Sort of like a wooden match that got wet.

The guy broke his school record several times at the beginning of the 2008 season.  I can't find the stats but something like 52 to 54 to 56 yards. Then the wheels came off his team mates.

Have to remember, Schebler was a kicker that was "only 91%" (52-57) on PAT's. Missing 5 PAT's would not be considered outstanding, either.  Just a thought...

No worries. I was on the Oxy want to win list as well and was in the very big minority on the WIAC pick ems' for the upset.  For two reasons. It would have been much easier to get to Eagle Rock and back on t-giving weekend and to watch the defending national champs put a beat down on the Tigers 60-0 if it happened to fall that way.  I had a placard all made up " Your son may be 4.0 in quantum physics but my son had better angles to the ball"  on one side and on the other " Barack O'Bama will be another 1 and out SCIAC team"" All kidding aside. Thanks for all the memorable posts and we certainly welcome kind wishes. This is going to be a tough game for many reasons. I think we can, I think we can, I think we can

Ditto on the All-Whites, Bobo.  Definately a good look.  I also liked the home Black Jerseys with Purple pants, but when I was playing we did not have enough purple pants to suit everyone so we wore them on the road or at home in the play-offs.  The black pants came in after I graduated.  UWW has to have some of the nicest uniforms in all of D3 Football.

You guys are crazy.  All white does not have the necessary psychological or visual effect for the opposing team!  A recognized fact that darker colors make the players look bigger and certainly, more ominous!  All white cries, "we are just here for a visit and we know you own this house."   Lost the two Stagg Bowl's wearing white pants first year and all white in 06.  Won it wearing all black!!!!   I rest my case!     I would dress them in some combination of purple /black that works considering that the Cru is purple as well.

I guess I might be a dweeb when discussing fashion...I always thought all white made you look faster - but half white, half black made you look like a...zebra. 

But, I'll take your word fbf413 on the color analysis - your argument seems reasonable!!
