No harm.  Sorry, I shouldn't be posting so early.  :)

Great Quote from UMHB coach after last Saturday's semi-final game:

"We have to judge everything on the physicality of our guys," he said. "If there was a smidgen of difference in the game, that's what it was. I would see our running backs and our quarterbacks getting really hit. We tackled, but they really punished you."

bleedpurple - time to start reading the board before posting...unless my math is wrong, I believe I posted that article 2 hours 4 minutes and 43 seconds before you...was it still written by Michael Hunt when you saw it?

Whitewater building a dynasty, from Michael Hunt of the Journal/Sentinal

Perhaps someone needs to direct Mike to www.onepeat.com.  The website was originally founded to point out that while folks were calling USC a "dynasty" they had only won one national title.  The tagline for the website (and the billboards they took out around USC's campus) was "Shouldn't dynasties win more than one?"

I can't believe his parents actually named him Mike.  That's cruel and unusual punishment.

Who is this "They" you are speaking of.  HSCoach sets the spreads on the OAC board and historically he is very accurate.  No one is 100% perfect in this "inexact science" and HSCoach is quite frequently right on target with his spreads.  To the point that some have accused him of having a direct link to LK as to keep the score under the spread.  It is really silly how close he is on a week to week basis, where the .5 point regularly comes into play.

Just busting your (MUC's) chops, too, kirasdad...I know first hand the ability of hscoach to pick the spreads; he's quite impressive...I've actually beat him (and you  ;D ) and during the regular season OAC pickem this year, remember?  Sorry for that dig, I still find it funny that me, an novice, could actually beat the OAC big boys at their own game!!   ;)

Eh, don't be too impressed.  Look at my standings in the playoffs this year.  Then scan back to see that I finished in second place last year by one point.  Anyone can have a lucky run.

As the title indicates, building a dynasty - as in, it's a work in progress, not Whitewater is a dynasty - there's a big difference in those statements, don't you think?  In a couple days we'll find out how construction is going!!

One only needs to look at my playoff record this year to know that!!

I'm no good at the pickems.  HSCoach is usually too good with the spreads and I don't have enough time to research the picks, so most of the time I am just guessing.

D O.C.

I found it very strange, being three thousand miles and all, but the first clear thought I had upon waking today was that 2005 ninety-something run by N Kmic to break open the Stagg Bowl.
Just a thought.

Well roocru and I are looking forward to our trip to the Stagg Bowl again  this year, even though, once again, the CRU will not be there.   :'(

I'm sure we will be easy to spot in our purple gear as everyone there will be wearing purple.  However, our's will have a little gold in it and say UMHB Crusaders!   :D

We are looking forward to another great game and I am excited to see you guys in person as I was not able to watch you against UMHB this year.

And what would your prediction be for a UWW/UWSP Stagg Bowl?   ;)

31-21. The same score as last year's Stagg Bowl!
