I'm sure you mean "DISTINGUISHED" BoBo ;D

Just asking you to be a little introspective.

Again, You've earned the right to be just a little bit arrogant, enjoy it, but realize what you're doing, while you do it.

Merry Christmas to all WIACers. It's been a great season. (Greater for some than others) ;)

slow go for the board the past 12 hours...I guess i'm one of the few that are working today.

So does any think Whitewater will have a tough time filling its schedule next season??? will they have to play a conference foe twice again?

For any MUC fans looking in: do your purple raiders have a hard time filling its schedule year in and year out? I read that DII schools in Ohio won't even hit you for a game.

have a good x-mas everyone.

Another great season for the Hawks and all who followed.  2008 Senior class...REMARKABLE 55-5 record with four conference titles and four straight trips to the Stagg Bowl!! Doesn't get much better than that.  Know for all you MUC fans trashing number three...be careful he just set the UWW all time catches for a season and believe me that isn't a fluke!  By the way he is back next year along with every WR for the Hawks, on a team I personally thought was better than MUC this year, just ran out of time. 10 more minutes in that game and we have a different outcome, but we didn't have 10 more minutes and I am not making excuses. Anyways #15 for MUC, who was suspect at best, ran his mouth more than anyone in the title game...and comparing UWW#3's skills to #15 for MUC is like comparing Jordan to Paxson (not comparable)! So if 3 wants to talk a little bit and add some spice to his already great ability let him, I wouldn't trash him...You will have to play him one more time!! As for #15 talking trash you might want to hit the weight room this year and try to work on your change of direction a little bit otherwise some Soph. from MUC will be playing in your spot next year!

The only thing I will say about #3 on this board is that he gave up on a play that allowed the game winning touchdown to be scored.  And I especially like the "not making excuses" comment right after you say UWW didn't lose.

To the rest of the UWW posters, congrats on a great season.  I'm hoping for UWW-MUC #5 next year.  I like coming over to this board.  You guys have good discussions and a lot of good information.  Obviously, I understand Champs07 needing to defend his cousin (#3) so rigorously, but we'll just leave that be.
They should have practiced harder.

re: #3.....looked like lots of talking going on, and neither wanting to back down. Unless I hear something different, it's a non- factor. Mt. qb being mvp, a no brainer. What a player. WW D holding Kmic down, outstanding. I wish these two teams played every week.
If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

Didn't look like he gave up on the play..as much as he didn't realize the ball was picked off right away. When Rusch finally realized what had happened the MUC DB was already 15 yards down field.

That's an absurd comment.

Mount has a very tough time filling it's non-league season opener ( the other 9 games are OAC games).  The local NAIA schools (Walsh and Malone) and D2 (Ashland and Tiffin) will have nothing to do with Mount.   Mount is their toughest recruiting competitor and the last thing they need is a loss to Mount too.  Ashland and Mount already play in JV football and Mount almost always wins and often pretty easily, so it's no shock that Ashland avoids them at the varsity level.

I would expect Whitewater to face the same challenge based on their recent success.  Who wants to open against a team that you have little to no chance of beating?
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

Rusch looked like a hard nosed player to me.  After watching the recording of the game, I did see him jump up after a reception (one time) and spin the ball on the field.  Nothing to get upset about, but I'd rather see a player hand the ball to the referee or leave it on the field at the point of the supposed spot.  Seems pretty weak compared to the normal get up and celebrate after a tackle we see a lot on TV nowadays.

Wisconsin doesn't even have any DII or NAIA football programs, making it even tougher for UWW to fill it's schedule lately. There's a big jump from Madison (DI) to the WIAC, Lakeland, St. Norberts, and other DIII programs. Nothing much in between DI and DIII expect in MN or IL.

Like Garcon  ;)

I didn't like Garcon's "Me First" attitude either.  I am more like a Nate Kmic type of guy.  Break the All Division Career Rushing Record with a TD Run, give the ball to the ref, head to the bench and then have to be called back by the NCAA Official who presents the ball to him.

I don't think anyone liked Garcon. That Cecil Shorts, at least from the tv, seemed head and shoulders above him when it came to attitude. If someone is going to get the best of you it is nice to be able to respect them as a person.

I don't know Garcon personally, so I can't say if I like "Him" or not.  I just wasn't enamored with his posturing on the field.
