The Raiders are coming! The Raiders are coming! Grab all the kids and hide the young ladies. Because the Raiders are coming to a town near you.........Well I may have gone a little overboard, but a recent release on Ric's sight has Mount coming to Wisconsin Oshkosh for a game on (Oh Boy) Sept 11 2010. Then Oshkosh travels to Alliance on  Sept 10, 2011 to complete the home and home. This must be their out of region allowance based on recent announcements of budget cuts. Sounds like the new coach is trying to step it up a notch (reference)  Whitewater in 2002 & 2003. Got them started on a pretty good path. Still LK holds a slight edge at 5-1 in the overall series. Great news, should be a fun time and it's 500 miles closer for me to travel. ;)
What are you doing on Sept 11 2010? ;D

I'll be in Oshkosh wondering why they're not playing the Warhawks ??? Not a knock on either schools but it'd be nice to watch the Hawks play MTU somewhere other than across the country...
2007, 2009, 2010, 2011 NCAA Division 3 Champions.

Raiders were at Perkins in 2002 and made a good accounting of themselves @ 44-21. I like the choice over the last two series with Averett and St. John Fisher. Again it may be the new coach at Oshkosh is reaching out to test his troops. Anyway I will look forward to sharing a beverage in the parking lot with you.

I remember.  We hung with you for about a quarter and a half.  After that point it got ugly for WARHAWK fans.  I can't remember your quarterback's name but he was unstoppable and threw for something like 450 yards and multiple touchdowns.   While you've dominated the series we've made things a lot more competitive than those first two meetings.  Hopefully we can get you the next time around.  :D

The QB was Rob Adamson I believe. He had a 350 yard day. You also got a dose of Dan Pugh and Mike Siriani that day. :o

my hat goes off to UWO for not shying away from tougher (toughest for that matter) compitetion. Looks like the new coach is taking a page from Berezowitz's scheduling philosophy: If you want to be the best, you'll have to beat the best. It turned out pretty well for UWW in the long run, lets see if oshkosh can take that next step as well....I know i'll be pulling for them :)

I like it...nice scheduling Coach Ceroni. The past UW-O coach would have shyed away no doubt. That's a game I'll be attending for sure in '10.

Oh yeah, I remember that game. I was watching it from the sidelines in my black jersey as a redshirt. It wasn't any cooler on the sidelines. Hopefully the beverages will keep me a bit warmer now that I'm watching it as a proud alumnus instead of a wide-eyed freshman. I will be sure to look for you in the lot. What beverages do you enjoy in Ohio? I know Minnesota has Hamms, Wisconsin has Miller brand X with my personal favorite being High Life or Miller Chill. Oh and hats off to UW-O for scheduling MTU and hiring coach Brown as your strength and conditioning coach. It's like they're literally taking notes on the success of UW-Whitewater.

Although he's a basketball guy, Wisconsin's favorite is clearly 'Point Special'! :o ;D
