Thanks for clearing that up for me.  And, the 40 yd dash, thing, that's really good.  I always find it amusing that this WIAC board can only be used to sing the praises of the Purple.  Justin made a wonderful run, WW is wonderful, and I am just so sorry that I noticed that block in the back after the run was over.  Will the WW faithful ever forgive me?

I would were it not for the infamous "take that WHITEWATER"  ;D ;D ;D
Gull darn you, BW, I keep telling you it was my partner who made that famous quote.

But it was you that put him up to it.   ;)
BTW, how'd that turn out for him?   ;D

Seriously I remember that it was your partner but I couldn't pass up the opportunity.  You are forgiven.

I will speak for coco, he was not joking at all.

It is obvious to both of us MUC and UWW are both stoking the boiler and when the clearing sound of those railway hounds is heard upon the land, most will step out of the way.

???   ::)

Hey Bobo,

I watch JB's run on your Avatar every time you post! Don't change it, it was my favorite run ever! It's classic what he did to Ely at the end of the run. But what is up with #37? I watched him the last few times and he was just running alongside Beaver. It looks like he had no interest in having happen to him what happened to Ely.  At one point it looked like he actually angled AWAY from the play.

I'm guessing that's why #3 blocked #37 in the back after the play was over.  Because he was acting cowardly.  ;)

#37's cowardice cost MUC WAY MORE yards than the block in the back so many like to cite. He would have escorted Justin into the end zone had not Ely showed enough courage to get knocked on his butt!

I guess some teams are just a BIT more physical than others! The Bluedevil coaches mistake 40 yard dash guys for football players, Stoutguy?

Bleed,

Sometimes you are so full of sh$$ I can't believe you can even stand yourself. Cowardice, cowardice...? I am not sure what video you are watching to come up with that assessment but it is not the one I have watched. Jonah Wilson would not have had a shot at Justin if he had made a move sooner. Beaver was moving away and had momentum carrying him toward the sidelines. Ely had the angle for the first hit and Wilson saw that. If Ely had missed the tackle Wilson was in position to make the hit to push Justin out of bounds before he reached the end zone. If you look at the position Wilson was in when he was assisted out of the field of play he was ahead of Justin not behind him. Even with the "COWARDLY" hit in the back by #3 you seem to think is a minor offense. Seems to me the stop and penalty yardage was credited with allowing only a field goal instead of the escorted TD so widely speculated. Using this kind of logic could give rise to the cowardly acts of Troney Shumpart and Jerremy Diebert in their cowardly attempt at tackling Cecil Shorts III last year. Shumpart wanted no part of Cecil in that first drive. And given his chance Diebert didn't show much more courage. They got beat by a better player on those plays much as Wilson and Ely did against Beaver. To attribute that to cowardice is despicable. >:(

I guess some teams are just a BIT better than others.......5-1, 3-1. You decide for yourself. ;)

#37 was Jonah Wilson.  He probably realized he wasn't going to catch Justin and that Ely had more speed and the better angle on Beaver.  Using what he learned in physics or trigonometry, decided it was best to slow down and angle off to his right and give Ely the clean hit on Beaver.  Oops, I guess that wasn't the right thing to do after all!!  ;D :D ;)

I know the Stars are really out of alignment now when I agree with what you said Bobo. I have already covered this with a response to Bleed but I couldn't let this post go with out giving it +K when deserved. It was the right thing to do. Anybody really in the know should be angered by the needless penalty #3 caused that probably cost a shot at another TD rather than settle for a FG!. ;)

Raider,  I can understand why you're upset but did you notice the blinking guy after Bleed's cowardly comment?  That generally means that he was kidding and his comment was not meant to be taken literally.  So relax, anyone from WHITEWATER who doesn't realize how good MU is isn't playing with a full deck.  ;) ;)  Now don't take offense to that comment Bleed, I'm only kidding.

True there is a wink at the end of that statement but read further in his next response he is not winking when he again refers again to #37's cowardice costing MUC Way more than yards....that kind of negates the wink IMHO.

And again the stars are still in alignment since I am not sure Bleed IS playing with a full deck. ;D

I love it when these arguments devolve into the proper use/misue of emoticons.  I don't why, but it makes me laugh everytime. :D

Raiderguy,
Gosh, this post would give an outsider the impression that you disagree with me! I definitely should have added more emoticons. I agree with the poster who laughs over the use of them. One tip for the future of your blood pressure: Look for my tongue in my cheek more often than not when I post.

For the record, I understand that MUC has been the dominant D3 program since 1993. That's part of the reason it's fun to take a light hearted jab at ya'll sometimes.

Now that a name (Wilson) has been tied to #37 I actually feel a little bad about my "cowardice" joke. I am outspoken when i am right ( Remember that time I was right, Raiderguy? I think it was back in ...oh...  2007  ;D ). So I need to man up if i've crossed the line. My apologies to Mr. Wilson.  But no, the "cowardice" statement was not made with serious intent.

I never want to dis a d3 athlete, even one who make an unfortunate choice of schools!  ;D ;D ;D

You have to forgive Raiderguy for his lack of humor.  He's obviously been spending too much time with the SJU folks in MN.

Especially the #2 QB at UWW.  Wow what an unfortunate choice there.  Instead of the opportunity to come away with 2-3 rings in his 3 years left of eligibility, he chose the school where his odds are down to 1 in 3.
