It was great to see Justin Beaver at the Perk on Saturday. As much as I wish he had a real chance to play somewhere this year, it will be fun to have him around for awhile.  It sounds like he is going to be involved in significantly helping UWW football!  :D

Today is easily the luckiest day in my life.

I received an email from a dying man, Sheik fahi, whom I've never met and wouldn't know from a hole in the ground.  For reasons of which I am totally clueless he has decided to leave his entire $9.2 million estate to me for the "good work of humanity."

To think my mother told me responding to bizarre emails from total stangers would cause me nothing by problems.  Ha, what the heck did she know.

And, yes, I will forget all of you little people.  ;D

Congrats bw!!  BTW, I'm far from a little person. In fact, I'm kind of a big deal in Korea.  I'll e-mail you my account number and you can wire me a portion of that windfall when the Sheik finally meets his maker!!   ;)  :D  ;D

Got an e-mail from a Sheik Ouylliklliwi about an inheritance too.
Being Friday the 13th and all I forwarded it to a friend in Oregon.  His response,"Try reading backwards you idiot."
Warhawks to the North!

sell the estate and give the cash to the WIAC...maybe then we can afford to travel, so we wouldn't have to play each other as nonconference games in 2011 (or whenever it was).  ::)

BoBo I love your video in your signature...that cat knew how to run the ball! It was great to watch you guys take down MUC that year. Hopefully we get our shot at one of you in the future. Good luck this week and in the playoffs.

If things, "line up the D3 forecast,"  this won't happen, (and shouldn't!)  Pat and the Guru's have ranked the brackets as MUC/#1,  UWW#2, SJU/#3 and Wesley/#4.

That would mean that the bracket would line up so #1 plays #4 and #2 plays #3 in the semi's, wouldn't it?

Getting 2 computers and the bloody's ready for a great afternoon of football.  Hawks/Eagles game on one and my high school's state play-off game on the other!  GO WARHAWKS!!!!!    ;)

Go Warhawks indeed...one computer is good enough for me this afternoon.

Congrats to the UW-Whitewater Warhawks for the 58-21 win vs rival #1 UW-La Crosse & the impressive and consistant run through the just completed regular season. It was the second most points scored in a game against La Crosse in their history.

Bigger things await for the 'hawks.

Todays scoring binge was the second highest in the long rivalry with La Crosse - topped only by the 60-32 game of 1987. BTW, they came back the next year to defeat UWL 52-22.

Defense keyed the victory putting relentless pressure on Eagle QB Anker.  With the large number of hits he was taking, as described by the radio duo, he must have felt like he had been hit with an anchor a few times.  ;)  Three sacks and numerous knockdowns made it a tough day for him. However, he did set an Eagles team record for most completions in a season, finishing with 197 on the campaign. Derek Underwood had probably his best game as a Warhawk with 6 solo tackles on defense playing a lot of linebacker and a 54 yard kick-off return to give his team a short field that resulted in UWW's 3rd TD on the day.

The UWW offense had 594 total yards, including 313 (7.3 average) yards pounding the rock. Jeff Donovan's average per completion was over 20, though it wasn't nearly his best performance of the year. Coppage 15 rushes for 144 & 3 TD's led the rushing attack.  CJ Miller and AA made major contributions with 76 & 71 yards, respectively. Warhawks played 4 QB's in the game. With his 3 TD's, Coppage broke Justin Beaver's school career rushing TD record with his 45th in less than 2 complete seasons. The WIAC career TD record of 51 his well within the crosshairs. He also tied Beaver's WIAC record of 24 rushing TD's in a season. With up to 5 more games to play, he could really distance himself with everyone on the career lists.

Now we wait until Sunday afternoon to see what the NCAA has up their sleeves.

Hey, Stout had a nice season, too.

Congrats to the Blue Devils on an 8-2 record...
