Voice says that Jim Zebrowski was named the WIAC Assistant Coach of the Year, http://www.warhawkfootball.com/newswire.asp.  I think that it is well-deserved. Seems that this year's team is spreading the ball around to all of its weapons and is a more wide-open and unpredictable.

Of course! Why is this a surprise? ::)

raiderguy, was Zebrowski actually a football guy at Mount? I thought I heard he was more a baseball guy, didn't really play a lot of football. True? or not true?

My freshman year at MUC was 1990-1991 and I don't remember Zebrowski as being one of the Starters who beat me around on a daily basis at practice.  ;)

I would love to see a 56-0 or 84-0 this weekend over Lakeland.
6-4 in the playoffs, WHOA!  At least it pays to win your conference.  Payment, UWW!

Speaking of repeats...with Mr. Donovan being a senior, and all, now's is the time to move on California Lutheran freshman quarterback Tony Macarena  6'1"  225 from Oaks Christian High School in Westlake  Village, California (Thousand Oaks). He'll be free after Saturday.

While I was not there at the time with what little info is available in Coach Z's bio he appears to have been heavily involved in football from the get go. He went right to HS for six years before moving to the college ranks. Helped several programs improve over the years (understatement alert).

Going back to those formative years at Mount the record for MUC over the 88-91 seasons was 31-7-3. He apparently learned a thing or two while working with LK. Interesting the three ties on LK's books occurred during this time frame. It also represents 1/3 of LK's career losses during these four years. Terrible, the guy should have been fired! ???

I don't know, UWW has been accused of running up the score all year   ;)   ::)

Know the feeling....Can only go so deep in a roster in a game. Kicking FG to stop TD's is even considered the same way. Taking a knee is insulting the other team. I guess you need to just hand the ball over on each possession.

It is the playoffs.  Rosters are smaller.  If the opponent can't handle it then they shouldn't be at the Dance in the first place!

I see that Carthage is taking on UWW Friday, and UW Stevens Point Saturday in B=Ball. Let's start the discussion again. ;)

How about an over/under on the rushing TDs CJ Miller (third string) scores for the Hawks? Two or three?
