Happy Thanksgiving everyone.  Enjoy the turkey, enjoy the football, enjoy the company of those whom you are with.  If you're traveling have a safe trip.

I'm actually traveling to Detroit to check out the new tourist attraction, the Museum of Carjacking. That should be more entertaining than the Lions-Packers game.

Bit of a surprise.  Thought maybe Donovan would get a nod.

Having a 1 or below GPA and being ineligible for baseball might have something to do with that.
If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

Place Kicking Advantage UWW
IWU field goals   3-11.
IWU extra points  30-40

UWW field goals:  9-10
UWW extra ponts:  65-67

This statistic made me laugh out loud. WOW, a 27% field goal accuracy and 75% extra point accuracy? I now appreciate Schebs that much more lol.

At that extra point rate, I wonder if it makes sense just to go for two?

Jeff deserves it but if I had a vote, DePauw quarterback Spud Dick would get it just because he had to go through life with that name.  ;D

Happy Thanksgiving to all on the WIAC room.  Have a great day with family, friends, food, and football.  Be safe in everything you do.

I'm betting the Warhawk's coaching staff has already thought of that one.

Happy Thanksgiving to all!  Enjoy the day with family and friends, be safe and count your blessings.  I know I will.

Um, yeah.
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of the Hawk-heads, and all WIAC comrades as well.   :)
What the hell was that?  That was a Drop-kick.  Drop-kick? How much is that worth?  Three points.  THREE POINTS?!

Happy Thanksgiving to all! We are so blessed and have much to be thankful for. Whether this has been a really hard year or a great year, we all can be thankful for:

1. Our Freedom
2. Men and women who put their lives on the line to defend it.
3. Hopefully much, much more.

Happy Thanksgiving WIAC fans!

Jeff worked very hard to bring his grades back and earn eligibility for this football season and we are all happy he did.  We all can struggle at times in life, especially kids at that age, but they usually find their way eventually.

Jflash,
Kind of a tough context for Jeff that you would provide that info on this board. I am not commenting on whether the info you provide is completely correct or not. It's just easy for all of us to form quick opinions on this board and that information in isolation could lead to an unfortunate opinion of Jeff.

I feel the need to let the board know that Jeff has some GREAT attributes and is a GREAT kid. Few in the Warhawk family would want anyone else leading the UWW offense through the playoffs this year.  And that has a lot to do with who he is as well as  how well he plays football.

Not taking a shot at you. Just standing up for our guy.

janesvilleflash

That info came from the baseball boards last season. Frankly, at that time I wrote him off for this football season. He is to be commended on the effort he put in to be in position to do the job he's done this year.  I merely was responding to someone who seemed to think he should have been nominated for the Gag award.

The kid has fooled me since he started at WW. From the start I said he would never be any good. As it turned out, he may well be the best QB at WW ever.
