Good read, Bleed.  One thing I like the best was seeing the abbrevation "Jr." following the names of four of the five.

Question for the Warhawks:

Last year I seem to remember that Coppage and Anderson pretty much split time at RB.  This year it seems to be Coppage is the feature back (240 ATT) and Anderson isn't getting as many (94 ATT).

Was/is Anderson hurt, or has Coppage just turned into the "Go To Guy"?

Anderson missed a couple games completely and was used sparingly in a couple others due to injury.

Bleed. Great job on the blog. The offensive line has always been strength at UWW, which as always gets overshadowed by the "skilled" positions.
I see DLK aka "Mr. Whitewater is giving away free tickets to students who rent from them. Do a lot of the student athletes still rent from him??? That's how it was when I went to u dub-dub. That is a very nice gesture of him to do. As the university owes him a lot and he owes the university a lot as well.
Go get Wittenberg this weekend to set up the showdown with Linfield.

It's not just him. ResidenceLife is giving away tickets to students in the dorms and two other areas on campus are giving away tickets to any students (my friends and I already got our free tickets).

And nobody thinks of DLK as "Mr. Whitewater". In fact most people hate the guy and consider him a slumlord. I met him on the bus ride up to the game against Lax and he seems like a nice guy (paid for the entire bus's lunch at Old Country Buffet) but the guy's a horrible landlord.

The Warhawk offensive line, IMHO, is what pushed the program from 'a WIAC bunch of plodding hightops' to a perennial Mount Union opponent.

Don't mess up this weekend. We're both due a glitch or two (but recoverable   :) )

I don't think he owes the university anything...Based on the athletic facilities he's paid for, they are among the best in DIII. that goes for all sports not just football. UWW will forever be in DLK's debt in my eyes. Hence his name being on everything north of Starin Road  ;) .

He's part of the reason why UWW athletics are among the most competitive in the country, not to mention the WIAC...

Last year, Coppage was the "Go To Guy" until getting hurt in the first round playoff game against St. John's. Then Anderson took over. Before the Playoffs in 2008, Coppage had 253 carries and Anderson had just 62.

Speaking of snow blowers and sideline heaters, if we are lucky enough to host the semi's, let's hope the Perk looks like this. ;D

Of course, this would have a greater effect if the opponent is the Cats.  The Tommies might not bat an eye. Although, they don't have a lot of experience playing this late in the year.   ;)
