The number of playoff turnovers so far were not caused by weather by man

I hope they're not all hat and no cattle, or there will be many flat monkeys laying around WW Saturday.

I tuned in to the Linfield-St. Thomas video mid-way through the fourth quarter. What I saw then was St. Thomas shooting themselves in the foot by fumbling a punt and a handoff (neither forced by Linfield) and St. Thomas sacking the Linfield QB twice. Neither team could move the ball.

Obviously this must not have been representative of the entire game.

Although Goo is correct that my predictions are usually not that accurate I will make another........Warhawks if they play well will win. As I have said before this is the most talented team ever assemled at UWW and if they play well they can't be beat in division 3 but if they (especially key players) don't play well a balanced team like Linfield can knock them off. We beat Linfield in 2005 because we played are best game of the year and the Cats had no run game.....from what I hear now they seem to have a decent run game. OK Goo have at it I have made my prediction. Just watched the highlights from 2005.....that was the best college game I ever attended.....here is hoping we have the same conclusion this week. Where is Wesley....we love playing them in the semis......Mt. Union needs to get a cannon that seems to bother them quite a bit......

Put together a couple of flights and I'll be headed out to Milwaukie on Friday AM and should get in around 6pm (stinkin' layover).  Looking forward to it.

In regards to the game...I'm sure there is going to be tons of smack from the posters on each board but I'm with Sakman....If UWW plays well then the 'Cats chances are very slim and if Linfield plays a great game then we have a chance to get it done.  If Linfield comes in and lays an egg...then we're in for a Wesley Semi experience.  However, being the blind only to Linfield honk that I am...I just think this 'Cats team is a tough as nails group and will give the 'Hawks all they can handle and can get it done.

Stopped in to McDonalds to test your theory. $1 didn't even get me an empty cup. My opinion got me a quizical look from the "hostess". So we will have to try something else.  ;)

We also switched over to the Linfeild/St. Thomas games. 3 observations. The announcers suck, the video feed sucked and it will be a verrrrrrrrry long day for Linfeild if they can't get at least some sort of run game going. We were not impressed with any part of thier game. IMHO

Talk is cheap. With your opinion and $1 buy yourself a cup of McDonald's coffee.  :D

Wildcat...... stop by our tent for some food.....we are usually right across from the baseball field. That's the least we could do for those great videos you come up with each year and the great way we were treated in 2005 in Oregon......

From the depths of a plodding, mediocre team in the WIAC the University of Wisconsin at Whitewater now stands as a premiere example of football in NCAA Division III. Having won 66 games since the 2004 season and lost but 5 games, three of those the last game of the season in the Stagg Bowl, is remarkable.

LINFIELD is well aware of who their upcoming opponent is. Since winning the AQ (finally) LINFIELD has known they are going to have to play UWW sometime. Fortune has it that an opportunity was afforded to get a good look at them up in Tacoma in 2008 and again at Salem, OR, the same year.  After all, the Warhawks were so gracious to come all the way out to the West Coast. A live performance is so much better than watching every game on PennAtlantic the past few years – and the Stagg Bowl.
Whatever the weather the LINFIELD coaching staff knows this stalwart group of Midwesterners and what it will take to upset their cheese cart. They are going to try their best and then thank UWW for the game.

And we get to watch!

Congratulations must go out to each team in the semi-finals this year.  Whitewater will face a tough test in Linfield this week.  I must say that I am extremely happy that teams have to earn their spot in the National Championship through a playoff.  Here's an interesting article about the Division 1 post season.

Not that it matters but for clarification that is actually the softball diamond you are near in the northwest corner of the parking lot, Sak.  The baseball field is a good distance from the parking lot.

No please come to the game. We want another sturdy test to tune the team up for the grand finale. Bring your homework on the plane to study for finals. Bring that vaunted running game we watched last Saturday. Does minus running yards count as a positive or a negative stat ? Bring multi layers of clothing and a few sleaves of rolaids as well.  The tailgate hospitality is tremendous but as a heads up, eat while indulging in beverages. Rumor has it that there are ghosts wandering the parking lot of poor souls from Wabash, UMHB and others who drank far to much to over come the cold weather, miserable outcomes and were never seen in human form again.
I wasn't as engaged with D3 the last time these 2 teams played so I can only go off of the posted history and from what I understand it was one of the best D3 games ever. Well at least in recorded history.

I think we might as well stay home since Stealth has pronounced that the Cats are wasting their time coming to Whitewater.  Might as well stay at the Catdome and study for finals.  Too bad Stealth didn't visit the Catdome the last time these two teams met and see a great ball game....in my opinion, you may have the same type of competitive event next Saturday (but perhaps with a different result).

Is it near the soccer field because that's where I hear the Royal Purple sports reporters will be this weekend.   ;D
