I think I figured it out!
History can't throw the ball
History can't catch the ball
History can't run the ball
History can't tackle the ball
Anybody that dwells on it is "Callow"

1. immature or inexperienced: a callow youth........Someone with nothing to offer, but the past?
2. featherless; unfledged bird.................... A flying Rat?

3. a recently hatched worker ant................An annoying pest, always ready to bite you in the ass? :-*

Talked to Wildcat11 yesterday about the trip back to UWW.  He said he got to meet you and take part in your tailgate action.
  Good Times !!

UWW needs to bring it home for the West.

   GHC

I did indeed meet him and I'm sure I am not telling you anything you don't already know.  I enjoyed every minute of it..........a very impressive young man!   ;)

Thanks a lot '02.  Now I have to clean Mt Dew off my keyboard...........
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

When the present is somewhat uninspiring one can always return to history......

Tuxguy

Sorry for the late congrats,
but I'm still trying to get over the 2005 loss! ;) ;)

Another classic, atleast when the Wildcats and Warhawks meet they don't disappoint.

Nice game once again,  best of luck in the Stagg!

Only at a D3 football game could you have 2 seats on the 50 yard line (2 rows behind bluenote) and have an obstructed view!
I love D3 Football!!!

Just another advantage of being a MUC guy.  We have BOTH.   ;)

bp - the posts you listed from Mt fans that you think are excessive at least come from a program that has a long history of accomplishments. Your own Warhawk fans can be equally annoying, and they have only five years of admitted excellence to back up their crowing. I have been trying to get those who crow the loudest to at least see how annoying that can be to those of us who have a little sense of a longer history.

Actually, you have mischaracterized what I said, retagent. I didn't say that list was "excessive". The word I used was "reasonable".  And the overall point of my post was also that I thought this whole "Mount is the Underdog" line coming from Alliance is disingenuous.  I thought HSCoach's point spread explanation was well thought out (although I still thought it placed the line WAY TOO HIGH).  And maybe some of the posters do see MUC as an underdog. But I fully believe at least 90% of those from Alliance doing the tongue in cheek "woe is me" routine fully expect a Mount victory Saturday.

I'm leaving for Salem after work Thursday.  Spending Friday night in the Salem Holiday Inn.  I'll be accompanied by my brother, Warhawk96 and a young man we refer to as "Coacher."  Its going to be a great time.

Go 'Hawks.  Beat Mount Union.
We don't rebuild.  We reload.  Finish the mission.
