I have a warm place for all D III "nations" some are just warmer and smell better. ;D

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night.

HEMI_HAWK

Id like to extend my heart felt thanks to the gentlemen in the Purple Suit from Mount Union who, upon finding out that we drove from Wisconsin, booed us and told us to "go drive off a cliff". I hope you liked my comments about you and what i did you your mother earlier that day. Merry Christmas!

Beating a dead Purple Raider?

Wow, D O.C.!

Opening yourself up there a bit. If I were a Mount fan, I'd be very tempted to say something like,

"Maybe if Linfield had advanced far enough in the playoffs in the last 5 years to actually PLAY the Purple Raiders you would realize they are far from dead."

But then again, I should probably let them answer for themselves. I get myself in enough trouble responding to people taking shots at UWW and the WIAC!  ;D

Thanks, BP. Usually comments like that are so idiotic that they need little or no response. But, I think you did a pretty good job!

You should cut D.O.C. some slack.  Afterall it's still 354 days and counting, pacific coast time, before he is over the Linfield loss to us.  He's a slow healer.

Hemi-if you know anything about the people who are in frats at Mount Union, you would know that they are not representative of MUC's "best."

I would like to know what you did to his mother, though.  ;D

Just wanted to stop in and make sure that I extended my congratulations to the Warhawks on a great game and a great championship.  It wasn't the ending I was hoping for, but y'all definitely are worthy champions!  Congrats!

Just living vicariously through the Warhawk horde.
MUC has humor in defeat. They did not years ago when I posted
"The King is dead - Long live the King"
but then someone who'd studied historical literature instead of finance or football theory explained it to them and they were content to be back on top the next year.

LL is also the victim of a serial car coward/vandalizer who is going around and hitting football coaches and athletic dept staff at UW-Whitewater.  According to the article, this is the fourth known incident where UWW athletic staff vehicles have been targets of vandalism since the 2007 National Championship.

Click HERE and page down to the story (Dec 22)

"It's obviously not a coincidence that this occurred again," said Athletics Director Paul Plinske. "Clearly someone does not like to see our success, and it's someone who harbors bad feelings and wants to take away from something special. It's definitely a personal attack, and it's a huge concern because it threatens our safety and well-being."

"This behavior is unacceptable and I'm tired of it. Our coaches, staff and student-athletes deserve better. We hope people will step up for what's right and help stop this non-sense."

I want to state for the record that I have not been in Whitewater since the Linfield game.

Seriously, I hope they catch this dick and let the football team have a few minutes to "talk" to him.

Ditto.

Don't think I mentioned that I DID visit with Bob Berezowitz during my visit to the Ice Castle. Thoroughly enjoyed that.   :-*

That is so chicken- ****. Who does that stuff? Maybe the school or the athletic dept. ought to offer a reward for info about it. That often gets results. No one should get away with that.

Merry Christmas to the National Champions!
