Thank you so much, 68, and the very same to you and yours.  A.J. is having a CAT Scan tomorrow that will determine if he still needs surgery to remove some abdominal lymph nodes if the chemo did not reduce them completely back to their normal size.  Fingers crossed.  We had a great time last night celebrating his upcoming, "25th birthday and the End of Chemo," at a bar in Chicago with family and friends.  It was wonderful.  Happy Easter to all.  :)

Great news 413.....We will keep AJ in our prayers....Cat scans, Pet scans, and exrays every 3 or 6 months is something you learn to live with over time. Can't wait to see everybody in the Perk lot in September.....Glad there are 10 games even though never heard of these schools....Plinske should be commended for a job well done and the CCIW and the rest of them should be embarrassed......

I suppose I'm waterlogged for thinking that the WIAC starts playing each other twice this year.

Too early to talk about televised games? The same service this year? I enjoyed returning from early morning activities to see some of those games on Saturdays last year before the West Coast games started..

If my memory serves me that was scheduled to start with the 2011 season.

This is a little early but UMHB released their schedule and they will be opening their 2010 season against UW-La Crosse on 9/11.

Saw their record wasn't as good as they probably wanted but that they played some close games. Anybody willing to tell a humble Texan any details on the Eagles such as how much they lost from their season.

Offensively they return their quarterback who threw for 1406 yards, 10 tds, 9 ints and 57% completions.  Their leading rusher was a senior, the second leading rusher a returning sophomore.  Both of their leading receivers return.  Their field goal kicker returns as does the punt/kickoff returner.  On the defensive side they'll return 8 of the top 14 tacklers including the leading tackler (SS).  It looks like they've graduated 2 linebackers and return 2.  In the backfield they return the strong safety, free safety and two corner backs.  Up front they've graduated a defensive tackle and end with another tackle returning.  Statistically they were in the middle of the pack in most categories.

Now that you've gotten a legitimate reply, I have to comment - isn't 'humble Texan' something like 'jumbo shrimp'?! :o ;D

well Mr. Ypsi, like the song says it hard to humble when you are prefect in every way  ;)

Sure wish I could make it to the UW-La Crosse but I don't think that is in the budget this year. However I was there both times the Cru visited Whitewater and other than the strange cold white stuff on the ground (and the results of the games) they were very nice trips.

I was doing some prep work for tomorrow's UWW baseball doubleheader at UW-Platteville when I discovered UW-Platteville has posted that the Pioneer football team is looking for new offensive and defensive coordinators.  The school will begin review of applications of the D-Coordinator position on April 12th and April 16th for the O-Coordinator position.

Maybe this topic has already been talked about here on the message board.

I hope you don't mind my posting this 413.  My thoughts and prayers are with AJ and hoping the sugery takes care of the problem and he is headed for a speedy recovery.

AJ Raebel finished up his six weeks of chemotherapy teatments shortly after last month's Cure 22 - Night For AJ Benefit at Kachel Gymnasium. Raebel blogged today about what his doctors say should be the next phase of treatment.

Wasn't it the Cure 33 Benefit?
