An update on AJ Raebel from Warhawkfootball.com

http://www.warhawkfootball.com/newswire.asp

I hope you don't mind my posting this 413.  My thoughts and prayers are with AJ and hoping the sugery takes care of the problem and he is headed for a speedy recovery.
I am sure that Tom will take care of it.  He always jokes that the fingers don't work the same since is own health crisis a few years back.  Thanks for the support, BW.  This one is a little hard to swallow as he only had about a 15% chance that the surgery would still be needed after the chemo, he is really tired of feeling like crap and has enjoyed getting back to normal the last couple of weeks.  The lymph node not only didn't go back to normal but actually doubled in size.  The good thing is that the cancer is gone, it is dead in the center and the size increase is believed to be because of scar tissue that developed as his body reacted to the dead cells in the node.  But it can't be left to possibly create mischief in the future.  Unfortunately, it is a very difficult abdominal surgery with a 6 to 8 week recovery time.  So we head back to Indianapolis and he/we have to keep soldiering on for a few more months................... Damn!   >:(

I was doing some prep work for tomorrow's UWW baseball doubleheader at UW-Platteville when I discovered UW-Platteville has posted that the Pioneer football team is looking for new offensive and defensive coordinators.  The school will begin review of applications of the D-Coordinator position on April 12th and April 16th for the O-Coordinator position.

Maybe this topic has already been talked about here on the message board.

Both positions were hired on an interim basis, and now, by state law, the University is conducting a search for people to be named on a permanent basis.

hmmmm..Is there another Wisconsin Whitewater Warhawk football team that i'm not aware off???

ebay

Or is there a major leak in the athletic department regarding new football jerseys? And someone is trying to make a quick buck selling a pirated jersey before Plinske makes the official announcement  ;)

The fact that the jersey is listed as used and comes from Ohio is a little suspicious.

Click on the word "ebay" in the original post.  It will take you to the ebay sale.  I have never seen UWW wear a jersey like that so I suspect it is a fake.

KitchenSink

A) too dumb to do a little digging to find the true origin of the jersey

B) Hoping the bidders are the too dumb ones ...

Unfortunately, I wouldn't be surprised if it shows up at the Perk in the fall ...
What the hell was that?  That was a Drop-kick.  Drop-kick? How much is that worth?  Three points.  THREE POINTS?!

I sent the seller an e-mail asking why he thinks it's a UWW jersey. Still waiting for a response...doubt i'll get one
