Welcome to the boards Mr. Dufrane.  Are you still matriculating or working at UWW with that email address?

Mike Dufrane was a senior in 2008.

Point plays 6 of their 10 games at home this year including the first 3 at home.  Anyone know who Point's starting QB is this year?  I'm thinking Jake Swank but don't know.  I'm guessing they'll be really good this year but probably not good enough to take out Whitewater.  How many starters does Whitewater have back on both sides?

not sure on the exact number, but the majority of the offense is coming back. Our biggest loss, on either side of the ball, is of course our QB, Jeff Donovan. Also, we are only losing one O-lineman and one WR, and that's about it for the offense.

On D, we'll have to replace a little bit more unfortunatly. our best d-lineman (White) graduated, along with Kyle Supianoski who was arguably our best linebacker. and I believe most of our contributing DB's have graduated as well.

then on special teams we lost our all-world kicker Jeff Schebler, he'll be impossible to replace.

02 warhawk,

Sounds like UWW largest issue is on the defensive side of the ball  just like the Raiders for this fall!

I'm pretty sure that most teams would love to have the "issues" that the hawks and raiders  are going to have this year   ;D     ;D

Hello I'm new to the boards. I'll be a transfer RB to Platteville in the fall and I don't live anywhere near Wisconsin. Just was wondering what the outlook on UWP was for the upcoming season.

Thanks.

Dwayne,

The best advise you will get is to not post on these boards until your college career is over.  Nothing personal, but your coach would probably not be happy you were on here.  Good luck!

Manuel, I figured since I was 2 years out now, I could throw my two cents in.  I wanted to get my jab in at O'Reilly. You probably won't hear from me again for about 3 years or so. Haha

No offense intended but if the past is any indication they will struggle.  http://www.wiacsports.com/football/AllTimeStandings.pdf

I'm sure they're depending on recruits like yourself to turn things around.

No harm.  I just saw your profile still had a UWW.edu email address and didn't know if you were still affiliated as a coach or other capacity.  Welcome to the board!  Keep Posting!!

I will most definitely try to.  Slow day at work today, so it's easy to pop on here, and a good day to keep working on getting that GA job I'm after.

Isn't anybody slightly curious what might bring a kid from Cincinnati to play at UWP? Not a jab at UWP, but seems rather odd, IMO.  Also strange, the hightlight tape shows plenty of action, but the name Dwayne Curry doesn't appear in any of the 2008 or 2009 cumulative stats or roster for Thomas More College. Come on back -Showtime- and fill us in - your not on the team yet!!
