Listening to the coaches show podcast, they were giving Adrian an extraordinary amount of respect -- which is how you'd expect them to act.  But nevertheless, I detected a bit of amusement in LL's tone in the nonchalant way he mentioned the matter (maybe it was just me -- I don't know). Sounded like the game may have been scheduled before Adrian changed Head Coaches; that may have influenced their decision somewhat.

It has been my VERY limited experience listening to/observing  LL that he does that little "amusement/sarcastic" thing on more than one occasion.  I think if it wasn't in front of the press he would probably say "YAH.....LIKE WE REALLY NEED THEIR FRICKIN' FILM".....pffft.   

I am not casting any negativity on LL at all for the record.  The dirty SOB is one HELL of a coach!

If you think he would actually say that you don't know him very well.  Whether they may be good or bad he doesn't take any opponent that lightly.  That's just not his style.  

I recall an incident a few years ago when we opened the season against Eastern Oregon and they sent us film from the previous season.   Then when we played them they ran entirely different offensive and defensive systems.  We wasted the entire week preparing for systems that we didn't see yet managed to win the low scoring game 9-7.

Personally I think their unwillingness to share film is petty.  But to each his own and there's nothing obligating them so if they want to take that position I guess there's nothing that can be done about it.

I think Adrian might hang with the hawks for a little while before UWW starts to pull away. Looks like Adrian has a solid team in the MIAA. I don't think this is going to be Puget Sound type blowout to start the year for Whitewater. However, come the second half, like most games, UWW's Oline will wear down their DL, and that's what separates Whitewater from the rest of the pack....pound the rock!

I'm looking forward to the nice fall-like day...so far the forcast is a high of only 69 degrees at the Perk

I predict it will be closer to a Puget Sound type of blowout than a game like St. Xavier.

Interested to see Demetrius Jackson on their O-Line (6'4", 335lbs ). I can give you his jersey number, but I don't think you'll have a problem spotting him.

I remember last year against an NAIA team (midland lutheran, i think), where they had some big boys on the o-line, but that game got out of reach in a hurry.

Agree, Adrian knows the task before them and credit to them for scheduling UWW, but it will not be close in second half for the reasons you stated!
