ONU receives second half kickoff and drives 64 yards for a touchdown.  RF answers with a 73 yard drive and touchdown but misses the extra point to tie 21-21.  RF holds ONU on their next possession but the punt pins RF on their own 7 and they lose a fumble on the first play.  ONU scores in two plays to go up 28-21 4:15 remaining in third quarter.

Drive stalls on their own 30, ONU with the ball and moving towards another score.

As is often the case turnovers played a huge role in the outcome. RF 2  ONU 0

I agree.  Good showing by River Falls. 

Though I would have preferred for ONU to score a meaningless TD at the end to hit my number, I can take solace in 34 of the 48 participants (71%) being on the wrong end of the spread.  If I can't hit the spread nuts on, I at least find enjoyment out of making the majority of the people mad at me.

Not too far from my projected score of 38-17.  Unfortunately HSCoach's spread found a way to be in between my projection and the result, leaving me a loser in the OAC pickem!

Nice preview and blog! I hope that you are right on your prognostication. I think its a year that Central could make some noise. We have had recent success in the playoffs but its time to take the next step to the semis and Salem. This years team has the capabilities with the amount of returning players, especially all conference guys. Scheduling a WIAC team is never an easy win though. Im excited to see what Oshkosh-b-gosh brings to the table Saturday.

The things from what I overheard with Cory Robinson is he didn't get along with the new QB coach and they basically cut him through the practices.  I am not totally sure, but it was an overheard conversation with Cory walking out of the SAC angry.
